    Nutrition saved my life multiple times. I had to pick two times where it truly saved me from situations where I could have died for this podcast episode. The first time, I was a young teenager around 14 years old, and at least 70 pounds overweight. I was picked last for gym class, picked on for being fat and made fun of all the time. I turned to an angry person who would bully and put others down so I could feel better about myself and my body issues. Then the school sent a letter home to my parents, explaining that my BMI showed that I was obese and I was at risk of diabetes.
