Amir goes through the fact that any change in body composition, strength, power that you wish to pursue must be done over a certain period of time and there is no way around this. Programs, diets and training routines and principles have been around for decades if not thousands of years. There isn't really anything new coming out, only scientific discoveries of how those old things work. Learn to set goals and get after them, there is no big answer to your questions. It's all about building momentum and achieving consistency to be able to make training part of your lifestyle and not a chore. Just like pushing a car, the hardest part is the very start - overcoming the inertia. Once it's moving it's easy to keep it rolling. The athletes who get to a high level in any sport are the ones that can maintain consistency even through injuries and learning how to manage them.
