Well, as in the immortal words of the cast of Letterkenny, "to be fair" only Sean had negative things to say about the first episode, so did he change his mind? The Film School Janitors watched the original superhero story not based on a comic-- wait, it was based on a comic? Well, at the very least it wasn't one by Marvel or DC. Is it worth checking out? Growing up is tough, but getting lost in time is tougher! The Film School Janitors watched PAPER GIRLS entire first season, and this is what they thought about the adventures of four young ladies from the 80's that visit their future selves as they try to get home... and ride in a robot and see dinosaurs and floating cities!

Look up in the sky! Is it a floating glowing cube? Is it a man with the body of an ape on the moon? Is it a portal to a parallel dimension? This doesn't even begin to express how truly weird THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY can get. With a fourth (and final?) season announced, the Film School Janitors are finally here with their season three review. The first big debate was whether the Film School Janitors cared enough about this prequel show to watch it or not. So now that they actually watched the first episode of the GAME OF THRONES prequel, HOUSE OF THE DRAGON, what did they think? Don't debate about it! Listen and find out!

Is this a salvageable film or not? Not to be confused with the Dennis Quaid/Meg Ryan thriller called D.O.A. or the classic film that was based on, this one is based on the video game series DOA: DEAD OR ALIVE. Based solely on the title, it sounds like it could be at least interesting, right? I mean, there are some good video game movies. There are few directors working today that can get people to see their movies just by adding their name, and Jordan Peele currently is one of them. Will he keep it up, and be like Spielberg? The Film School Janitors stumbled upon a little sequel called PREY - which is more of a prequel to 1986's PREDATOR, but also just a good, standalone sequel? I can't keep track of this stuff anymore. What's worse than facing a vampire at night? Facing them during the day...? (The pay isn't as good in the daytime, you see.) And that's the premise of Netflix's latest offering, DAY SHIFT. Jamie Foxx needs to save his house, his family, and his daughter's teeth (she's not a vampire - she just needs braces), and to do so, he rejoins a vampire hunting union to make some money. The Film School Janitors get it. These film school students are blood suckers as well.

After a couple bouts with COVID, the Film School Janitors are back, but are they excited about it? First up is the (already forgotten/soon-to-be) Netflix classic: THE GRAY MAN. Ryan Gosling plays a guy that runs around and fights a lot of people and protects a kid and tries not to get killed. If you're familiar with Netflix's programming, you get the gist!
