Pick Up Your Faith and Walk
26/10/2020 Duração: 27minMany believers in Jesus Christ have experienced a deep relationship with him. Our sins have been forgiven, we have found help and hope in Christ. We acknowledge Jesus as the Lord of our life through Holy Spirit. We know God is for us and yet we still feel paralysed from time to time and sometimes for a long time- by fear and doubt or by the thoughts and opinions of others. But in this next season God is saying: Pick up your faith and walk. Let's ask the Lord for help in walking a faith filled life for His glory and our good.“1 I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. 2 I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. 3 Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together. 4 I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.” Psalm 34:1-4 (NLT)Melbourne Inclusive Church boldly and proudly proclaims Christ’s equal love for

Give until it helps and experience more in your relationship with God and others.Melbourne Inclusive Church boldly and proudly proclaims Christ’s equal love for all people regardless of their ability, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, gender or culture. Peace and Progress
12/10/2020 Duração: 27minResting in the knowledge that we are loved by God helps us to better love ourselves. During the Covid pandemic we have had to find ways to better care for ourselves. When we love ourselves we silence the Pharisee within us that says "you can't do this" or "you have to do that" and instead we find peace while doing our tasks. This peace leads to even greater progress because we are no longer doing it as a :must do" but as an "I get to and God will help me".Matthew: 11:28-29"28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls."Melbourne Inclusive Church boldly and proudly proclaims Christ’s equal love for all people regardless of their ability, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, gender or culture. Making the Most of Our Days
21/09/2020 Duração: 30minRalph Waldo Emerson offered this advice: To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. We all go through seasons of life. We go through summers and winters and we also go through peaks and valleys but how do we make the most of every day? Ephesians 5:15-17 offers us four ways we can make the most of our days. Being authentic about who we are and how we live is an important part of making the most of our days. The Authority of the Believer (Part 2)
21/09/2020 Duração: 29minMany people don’t like the word authority because sadly it has been used by some to cause harm. But as believers in Jesus Christ our authority is meant to be used to administer love to the people around us. Love is an important element of the authority placed in us by Christ as his representatives here on Earth. But with authority comes great responsibility. Very shortly we are going to experience a cross over moment. A time when we cross over from lockdown and isolation back into freedom. We have an opportunity for the church to come out differently than when we went into lockdown. May the church use the authority granted by Christ to do away with hate and exclusion and to welcome all who would come with love and kindness.Melbourne Inclusive Church boldly and proudly proclaims Christ’s equal love for all people regardless of their ability, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, gender or culture. Faith the Pipeline to Success
13/09/2020 Duração: 32minWhat is your definition of success? For a lot of people the definition lies in measuring how well we’ve done compared to others but the real test of success as a Christian is this-Did I fulfil God’s purpose for my life? Our faith leads us to a place of trusting God to be and to do all that He created us to be and accomplish. One of the great benefits of finding and fulfilling your life’s calling is that it settles the question of what constitutes true success AND provides the most life satisfaction. Don't look to others, look to God.To support the ministry of Melbourne Inclusive Church go to: https://www.michurch.org.au/your-giftJoin us live on Facebook on Sundays at 11:30 am (Melbourne): https://www.facebook.com/MIChurch.org.au

Melbourne Inclusive Church sending love and blessings
24/08/2020 Duração: 25minAs Christians we enjoy the blessings of knowing and being known and loved by God. The ultimate blessing of course is our eternal home with God through Jesus Christ. But Jesus also said that there would be a church here on Earth-His very body and that we would all be connected- we would be a family. For the video version please go to: https://youtu.be/P9RHz6PLJ0oGod is relational, and we are thankful for our relationship with God. But we are also meant to have relationship with one another. We are meant to love each other just like Jesus loves us. We are blessed to be a blessing. Blessing is defined asa request by a priest for God to take care of a particular person or a group of people, or God's act of doing this:Many times, God’s act of doing this is to use the Body of Christ to bless each other, that’s you and I. And sometimes the act of caring for someone is simply to offer encouragement and support. So to that end, and particularly in the circumstances we find ourselves today, some of the members of Melb

Moving from Guilt to Glee
19/08/2020 Duração: 26minSo many times we are told as Christians that feeling guilt is a sin. God gave us emotions for a reason. Guilt itself is not a sin but rather an invitation to confess where we may have missed the mark and to be forgiven and experience freedom rather than allowing guilt to invite shame which is so harmful to our lives.Melbourne Inclusive Church boldly and proudly proclaims Christ’s equal love for all people regardless of their ability, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, gender or culture. To support the ministry of Melbourne Inclusive Church go to: https://www.michurch.org.au/your-giftJoin us live on Facebook on Sundays at 11:30 am (Melbourne): https://www.facebook.com/MIChurch.org.au

God Bless the Gideons -those who feel like the least
03/08/2020 Duração: 33minAs Christians we understand phrases like God walks with us, God empowers us, God uses us? But what happens when we personalise these statements? God walks with "me" For some that simple change in language brings doubt and insecurity. Sure, God will do that for you, sure God talks to you, but who am I? God can’t use me, I can’t see how God would empower me? Why would God help little ol me? Enter the story of Gideon.Melbourne Inclusive Church boldly and proudly proclaims Christ’s equal love for all people regardless of their ability, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, gender or culture.
