Winning back a community who have been told that God doesn't love them is no easy task. Much courage is required but fear not for God is with us.

Jesus came out of the waters of baptism and was led into his ministry. We too as Gods children, unique and wonderful can come out and be who God created us to be and to live the life God has ordained for us since the beginning of time.

The names of God tell us a lot about the nature of God. Knowing that Gods nature is kind and loving helps us to draw closer to God. Moses understood the nature of God and as a result did not want to go anywhere with God. In fact Moses loved the Lords presence so much that he dared to pop the big question....Lord, show me your glory.

In todays day and age of independence and entrepreneurship the word obedience is seen as something negative and oppressive. The funny thing about this is that while we claim our independence many times we are also praying, God show me what to do! Looking at Abraham in the OT gives us a better understanding of obedience which, in essence is simply receiving Gods guidance and being led by God, which is our answer to prayer and provides Gods best for our lives.

1 John 3:1a asks us to behold what manner of God has for us but how do we intrepret that when we blow it? What we discover is that unlike humans God does not change. God loves you and we are meant to experience this love through thick and thin, good and bad times. Pastor Becky shares that beholding Gods love for us can be experienced in every season of our lives.

We all want more out of life. What would happen if, holding these wants in our heart we sought first the Kingdom of God?
