The panel, titled Indie Game Studio Founders, features myself and Amir Rajan along with moderators Chirag Gupta and Courtney Garza. In this episode, Amir and I discuss how we got started coding, our influences, plans for the future, and a lot more. I'm excited for you all to hear from Amir. He is the creator of the iOS version of A Dark Room which hit number 1 in the app store. The game was originally created by Michael Townsend, and Amir reached out to him during a work subaticle asking if he'd be interested in having A Dark Room enhananced and ported to iOS. Amir covers the details of their deal in the talk which you'll hear in a bit. I've learned a lot from him over many coffees these past 3 or 4 years, and I'm glad to be bringing some of that to you today.

Chris DeLeon: Gamkedo Founder on Building a GameDev Community, Academia for Game Development, & Content Marketing

Michael Duffy: Game Circus Programming Manager on Getting Hired at a Game Development Studio, Using Metrics in Gamedev, and Working Better in Teams
