As the age of 80 approaches, I limp away from bus driving.
07/03/2026 Duração: 17minSince 2011, when I thought I would try school bus driving as a part time job, I never had this dy in mind. A few hours a day expanded. The days of the week increased. The wages went up. But the toxic environment stayed. Always short of drivers. Awkward hires with limited people skills. And a school system that could care less what the bus drivers said. Student write-ups that went nowhere. Bullying in it's many forms continued. Some routes with kids who were always unruly and disrespectful. Now I can rest. I tried my best for more than a dozen years.
