  • Revolution in Retail

    12/04/2022 Duração: 01h04min

Send us a textThis episode’s guest is Neal Norton, owner of The Bikery in St Petersburg, Florida. The Bikery is a laid-back haunt for coffee, espresso, and pastries, plus a shop selling bicycles, gear, and accessories. The shop opened in 2016 after the idea came to Neal’s son Taylor when he was checking out bike shops online and noticed an awesome shop located in Berlin, Germany that bought and sold vintage racing bikes as well as running a neat little coffee shop.  Neal was into the craft coffee movement that was just gaining steam in the Tampa Bay area.  Taylor knows bikes and Dad loves coffee, so the idea for The Bikery was born. Listen in as we talk about the unique features of The Bikery, how the shop works with their employees, focusing on service shop efficiency, and the future of retail. References: https://stevenpdennis.com/remarkable-retail/, https://www.retailprophet.com/books/Support the show
