Happy New Year! This week, we raise a glass of bubbly to our favorite movies of 2018. We know, we know...what about the BAD MOVIES? Right? RIGHT?! Well, chill. This is a special episode. We'll be back to bad movies next time.

This week, Luke and Katie hit the busy streets of NYC with Taxi (2004). Jimmy Fallon is cop who can't drive. Queen Latifah drives a modified taxi and harbors ambitions of becoming a Nascar driver. Do you smell that? It smells like FUCKING COMEDY TO ME! Fun Fact: Queen Latifah, with her bodacious curves and sassy attitude, helped influence Katie's sexual awakening.

Luke and Katie call in the boys from "Bonus Features with Alex & Robert" to tackle this movie from four different angles. On this week's episode, we try to figure out where Josh Trank's take on Marvel's First Family went wrong. Did Josh Trank know his movie had been re-shot and re-cut? Did he lie to Kevin Smith in a three part interview on Fatman on Batman? Did Luke actually think this movie is pretty decent? (Probably).

In this truly, truly, truly, outrageous episode, Luke and Katie examine the massive flop that is Blumhouse's Jem and the Holograms! Why did this movie fall flat? Why did it get pulled from theaters in one week? Why does Katie absolutely DESPISE IT? Find out on Episode 14 of Bad Movie Brunch!

Fresh off the success of the Hangover, Todd Phillips produced a POV party movie. Katie thinks it favors style over substance. Luke feels quite conflicted about his enjoyment of this divisive flick. Fun Fact: Miles Teller plays a character named Miles Teller in this movie.

In 2006, High School Musical conquered the modern world. In 2007, they immediately followed it up with the gooniest sequel they could possibly conceive. 17.2 million viewers tuned in to the Disney Channel premiere of this flick. Where were you when the East High Wildcats went on summer vacation? Luke and Katie strap on their waders and go slogging through their swamp of HSM nostalgia.

Remember that time Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen did a movie together called Funny People but people didn't like it because it wasn't funny? Luke remembers, and loves it. Katie remembers and doesn't love it. Special guest Robert Riley is somewhere in between.
