Well, if anything else you certainly can't say that Jacob doesn't make interesting selections for the show. Who knew that the Audrey Hepburn/Cary Grant classic had a modern retelling, and one that leaned so heavily into the arthouse cinema side as well. But the true question remains: are either of these any good, and do they work as comedies or dramas or whatever they're passing themselves off as? They're fairly abundant and seem to dominate much of the discourse surrounding remakes and reboots, so it only makes sense.
