Today, Jake sits down with David Simon (@AoDespair), a Baltimore legend who kicked off his time in the city as a crime beat reporter for The Sun, and then parlayed his writing into a long and storied career in prestige TV. His collected works include "Homicide," "The Corner," and of course "The Wire" which all take place in Baltimore and highlight some of the culture (not all of it positive) of the city.
