After a quiet opening day of free agency that had some of the more pessimistic Ravens fans again ready to bury Eric DeCosta, the Ravens GM hit it big with a marquee signing in 26 year old free safety Marcus Williams, a player that Jake, Spenny, and Marshall (of Ravens Twitter spaces fame) hopped on to break down the signing of. In the midst of the show, the news came across the wire that the Ravens also signed tackle Morgan Moses to a three year, $15 million contract to begin their solidification of the offensive line. The guys have plenty of thoughts on both signings, including how they affect the team's immediate future, the draft, and the upcoming season. It's finally here! In arguably the best time of year on the calendar for a sports fan, the guys return one of their favorite segments they've done in the history of this podcast, the Beatdown Big Board. For the uninitiated, this is an exercise in which Jake and Spencer do an episode on each position in the upcoming draft. They comb through that position's prospects, and point out the group's best, their favorites, and sometimes both, along the way. At the end, they cull together four good options for the Ravens to take a look at (with varying degrees of context weighing value), and put it to a poll on Twitter for you, the listeners, to vote on who you like for Baltimore.
