Protestants have been in the news quite a bit recently, especially those of the D.U.P. (Democratic Unionist Party) from Northern Ireland, otherwise known as Orangemen because of the historic connection with William III of the House of Orange, Stadholder in Holland. The Protestant D.U.P. have now concluded a deal with the Conservative Government of Theresa May which will give them a powerful political position in the U.K.

As Britain struggles to pull together a coalition government the angels have been at work reorganizing the political landscape of the country, bringing BREXITEERs to power, and forcing the government to unite with the Anti-Catholic DUP, originally formed by Ian Paisley. 

The book of Ecclesiastes says, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:  A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;  A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up.”There was a time when Zion was to be broken down. The Lord Jesus said in Mark 13:2 in regards to the temple, "Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” And so it came to pass. But the time to break down has now past. A new process has now started, a process of building. A time to build up.

Relationships are at an all time low between Russia and NATO. The members of NATO themselves do not seem to be overly convinced by their union. Cracks are appearing in the NATO alliance as we would expect from Bible prophecy.

President Donald Trump is set to visit Jerusalem a day before Jerusalem day and the 50th anniversary of the reunification of the city. Trump is reported to be scheduled to arrive on May 22 and leave on May 23. Jerusalem Day is celebrated in Israel this year beginning at sundown on May 23 until sundown on May 24.

These last two weeks saw a rise of tensions in North Korea as the US sends a carrier group to the area, fallout from the gas attack in Syria followed by the US strike against Syrian bases, a referendum in Turkey giving Erdogan dictatorial powers, and the call for an election in Britain to help move BREXIT further  ahead, ISIS attacks in the Sinai, along thwarted terror bombings in France, all of which are causing consternation worldwide and causing stability to dissipate.

Last Saturday a special EU summit in Rome, on one of the seven hills, commemorated 60 years since the Treaty of Rome, which established the European Economic Community that led to the European Union. The European Union’s remaining 27 leaders — without Britain — declared in a joint statement the EU to be “undivided and indivisible”. The prime minister of Great Britain, Theresa May, was absent from the gathered European leaders.

This week population data from the West Bank was published from the Israeli Ministry of the Interior that reports 720,899 Jews are living in the West Bank including east Jerusalem. So despite all the world speaking of Jews leaving the West Bank, the opposite is happening. The population is continuing to grow just as God said it would. We know from the Bible that a belligerent Russia will invade the Middle East at “the time of the end”. Russia is seen to be preparing for this all over the world. New submarines are being built.  Military operations are on going. Allies are being brought into the fold such as Libya, Syria, Iran, South Ossetia. The Western nations are increasingly worried and are warning their military establishments and defence organizations to "wake up" - just as the Bible predicted.

On the 150th birth day of Canada achieving its independence we consider how it relates to Bible prophecy. We will consider Ezekiel, Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah and other prophecies that discuss the King of the South or The Merchants of Tarshish and her young lions.

Hello, this is Paul Billington speaking this week from Jerusalem where a Conference has been held entitled "Realizing the Zionist Vision: Sovereignty with Responsibility - apply Israeli law to Judea and Samaria." In effect, the discussion was about Israel possibly annexing the so-called West Bank.

Libyan General Khalif Haftar boarded the Russian Aircraft Carrier as it passed through the Mediterranean waking the world up to the fact that Russia is now sticking its oar into the Libyan waters as its next point of influence. Bible prophecy has predicted such a move and we watch with great interest as the angels are at work

This week over 40 Jewish families were expelled from their homes in Amona, a community a little north of Jerusalem in the Benjamin region, in what is known as the West Bank. This event drew the attention of the media throughout the world and featured on the front page of national newspapers. It is certainly a great tragedy for Jewish families to be expelled from homes in which the children have lived in since their birth — these truly were their homes. The images on the news look more reminiscent of a pogrom in Russia than something that would happen in Israel — the national home for the Jewish people.

Obama - “I think it’s fair to say that maybe some point down the line there might be a UK-US trade agreement, but it’s not going to happen any time soon because our focus is in negotiating with a big bloc, the European Union, to get a trade agreement done.  The UK is going to be in the back of the queue.”

All that needs to happen before the resurrection has happened. Trump, Judea, Yehuda Glick and trends in Israel... it is looking like the peace seen in Ezekiel 38 could be here very quickly.  Could the resurrection be tomorrow?
