Soul Keeping... Grateful Me. Earlier in the series, we learned how to breathe in. Now, it is time to consider how to breathe out. We learn how dangerous it is to ask God to show you and lead you to do something for others. While it is dangerous, it will bless others immensely.

Soul Keeping... Gracious Me. Living a life of grace means never stopping the practice of tending to your own soul. As a result, you end up having an ever-growing effect on the lives of those around you. Pastor Michael provides us with an example of a man who, after retirement, continues to have an even broader effect on others he interacts with... when others tend to shrink and carry on bitter, selfish lives in retirement.

Soul Keeping... Struggling Me. Our Spiritual lives are a lot like the three soils Jesus describes in a parable. How are we at making our souls available for fruitful seeds of spiritual life? Are we hardened and resistant to the Spirit's leading, are we living hurried and busy lives with no time for spiritual growth, or do we have a open and willing personality, allowing our soul to flourish?

Soul Keeping... Neglected Me. The first in a series of six messages takling about what a Soul is, and how to care for it. What is a Soul? Why do we have one? What happens to our souls when we die? Why is it important to care for our soul? What does it even mean to care for our soul? Why is there a photo of Pastor Michael dressed up as a Blues Brother?

Helping Without Hurting: The Poor. When is it ok to come to someone's aid, to pick them up off the floor and get them going. And when should we step back and help someone to learn to help themselves? Daniel Walker, of Love INC shares the vision and purpose behind LoveINC and encourages others to thinking in a way that helps others to help themselves instead of just enabling them to live in a poor and needy lifestyle.

Helping Without Hurting: Family and Friends. It's one thing to draw the line with how much you assist others when they are strangers. It's another thing entirely when it is your own family members and close friends who are asking for assistance. Samuel will help us walk around the topic. Samuel will also share his thoughts about how to handle a neighbor who is wielding a loaded gun while asking about a bible study of the Book of Hebrews.

Helping Without Hurting: Our Own Poverty. Christians have a propensity for wanting to help the poor, the widows, and the hurting. The problem is, we often end up hurting more than helping! In this lesson, we come to terms with our own position in the world, our own poverty. Michael lays the ground work for the rest of the series.

Unexpected Joy: Praise and Prophecy. There are many things to be thankful for. Some are everyday things, others are unexpected surprises. The story of the Gospel has given us a number of things to be thankful for, some of which we have taken for granted. the fulfillment of prophecy and appeasement for sacrifices, for instance. When was the last time we had to go to the church and give them our first born? When was the last time we had to kill a pair of doves? When was the last time you saw Samuel's cute little boy driving a car? Listen to find out. You might just be surprised!

Unexpected Joy: Keeping Perspective. Joy comes in unexpected ways. In the midst of our culture, what can we do... how can we look at things, to restore the joy of Christ in our lives and the lives of others?

Unexpected Joy: Seeing What Matters. It's important to put things in perspective, especially during the Christmas season. Pastor Benita will use a combination of media and scripture to help us through getting our hearts in the right place.

Unexpected Joy: Bearing Blessing. What does it mean to ask God for a Blessing? What is a Blessing? What does it mean to be blessed, and to bless others? While this term has become trite, "Well, bless her little heart", it has much power, and requires a great amount of humbleness. Pastor Carey will guide us through these questions.

Unexpected Joy: Christmas Reboot. It's the Christmas Season! The big sales are happening. People are setting up their Christmas Trees, lights, copious amounts of food, and enjoying the festivities (or the long lines at the shops). As Christians, we observe a lot of these practices. Pastor Carey and Sheldon discuss a few of these practices - some of which, come from pagan origins!

Partner... Pursue God's Mission. Being a part of the Church, being a Christian, means representing Jesus wherever you are. Samuel informs us on the state of the local mission field and encourages us to be active with friends, family, neighbors, and beyond. We hear from Covenant Member, Sandi Scannelli, and her story of inviting a guest into her home. She answers her guest's questions about Jesus and invites her to church. Listen in to hear what happens next!

Partner... Greatness. What does it mean to be great? Who is the Greatest Athlete? Who is the greatest in Business? What makes them great? What does the Bible say about greatness? How does your greatness affect others? What's with giant Garters at homecoming in Textas?

Partner... Get Invested In His Body. How much of your life is invested in yourself, in your family, in others and in your church family? What does the Bible have to say about this? What did characters in the Bible, those who were taught by Jesus, do for others and for the church? How connected were the various churches in the first years of the Church? How much does Scott Jordan like soft jazz? All this and more, in this week's message!

Partner... Follow Jesus More Closely. What does it mean to be a member, a partner, in the body of Christ? And more specifically, to the a member of a local church family? And, would you want to join a team of people who save stranded boat captains just for the apple fritters?

Jesus, Mission, Structure. The chicken or the egg, which came first? So often, the Church gets mixed up in which is the top priority, and what we should focus on as the impetus in our work and worship. Samuel sets the sails in the right direction and reminds us which comes first. Before there was structure and tradition in the church, there was our mission as given to us by Jesus.

Making Spirit-Led Choices. What does it mean to be Spirit Led? Is it something that happens when you follow all the right rules and get close to God? Or is it something simpler? Samuel walks us through the varying perspectives and leads us to the simple and powerful truth to this question. At the end of this message, we are led into a time of prayer for the family and friends of teenager, Haley Hodge, how had passed away earlier that day.
