Parables: God's Kingdom Made Simple... Lost and Found. We look at the parables of things lost and found. We gain insight on how God seeks and saves the lost, spoken from the mouth of the Savior himself. We are then given another parable with a seemingly similar message, which takes a stab at the pharisees in the process. We also hear what happens when a dog is so excited it can't breathe. Don't worry, it survives.

Parables: God's Kingdom Made Simple... Its All Good. We look at the parables of sowing seeds and the Mustard Seed. We are introduced to what a Mustard seed is and the wild shrub it becomes. The power of this image breathes new life into the parable, and what it means to be in the Kingdom of God. It's Wild!

Dual Citizenship. We are citizens of at least two dominions... a citizen of our nation, and a citizen of the Kingdom of God. How does this work? How is this described in the bible? Is it really possible to have dual citizenship? And, why doesn't Samuel like fireworks on the Fourth of July?

How do we know we are saved, and that the leading of the spirit is just that, the leading of God? Scripture is there to Guide us. Jesus also gives us other signs and practices to keep is centered. Samuel elaborates on this, and more.

Walking in the Light... Love From God. The Gospel of John Lennon says, "All You Need is Love". Is it really as simple as that? What is so powerful about the Love of God? Love is God... Eat, Pray, Love. Such things are trite compared to God is Love. Why is this truth so much deeper?

Walking in the Light... Practical Love. Luke reminds us that the most fundamental message Jesus gives us, is also the most difficult to follow: To love one another. He also seems confused about why it is a bad idea to listen to Night at the Roxbury.

Walking in the Light... Expecting Real Change. Who is the Devil? Why should we care? What does it mean to be of the world, and in the world? What happens when Samuel's brothers watch too much Braveheart? Can Samuel really be a tyrant?

Jesus Is... God's Word. The Trinity. How is it that Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are one and the same, yet three different things? Who is Jesus? He was around at the beginning of Creation, and he walked the earth and died for us! He is still with us now. Samuel will take us through this mind-bending concept, but no promises that it will be any less mind-bending at the end.

Jesus Is... God. It's a simple thing to say, but challenging to wrap your senses around it. Jesus. Is. God. For him to have said he was God, is to either truly be God, or truly be crazy! Samuel walks us through the biblical narratives that lead us to this conclusion and then help us realize what this means for us today. We are also led to believe he gets some exercise on his way to work.

Soul Keeping... Growing Me. The Dark Night of the Soul. Even the greatest personalities in the history of Christianity have experienced times of silence between them and God. Often times, this silence wasn't their fault, but God's choice. What does it mean? Why does it happen? Was Samuel really almost not admitted into Seminary because he was a fanatic?
