The church, lead by Peter and Paul, followed this trend, even teaching women and placing them in positions of leadership. Non-Jews of all types are being brought into the fold. What does this mean to us today?

Acts: Life's a Trip… Become an Encourager... With the apostles and Paul out on their own and the community of Christians growing at a prodigious rate, they are becoming a persecuted group. They scatter to other towns and begin sharing the Gospel there. With the community spread out so wide, it becomes important for the leaders to provide guidance and encouragement to the church. This is still important for us, today. Oh, and Samuel will light something on fire!
