Trucker Sentenced to Prison - Up a Creek A Trucking Company owner is on his way to jail after a major accident. A carrier has lied about about a hazmat load which is the cause of a huge wreck that destroyed much. Crime does not pay when you get caught trying to scam everyone. Also the president of a major truck stop just went to prison for similar things. TalkCDL had a post that showed the president pleading to stay out of jail before christmas is over. Our audience of truckers were all in agreement when they stated this guy should be on his way to prison now and not later. Thats right, the law is changing and truck drivers that smoke weed even in legal states could be in jeopardy of failing a drug screen. Transporting a Child! Transporting a Child, Bad trucker! When anyone transports a child across state lines it becomes a federal offense and you will be in big trouble once you are caught. A Truck driver picked up a 14 year old girl at a truck stop and proceeded to transport the girl through several states until authorities were able to stop the rig! Bad trucker Once in custody the girl reported that the driver gave her pot and as she described, put some drops on her tongue! The girl was living at a group home in MI and was very much a minor. A grown man should never have even given thought to putting a young girl in his truck. What was he thinking? Nothing good could come from this situation. The driver is now facing numerous charges and will most likely lose his job and be like a black sheep in the industry the rest of his life. A trucker once told me he had Six Accidents/Incidents but what is an accident and what is an incident? Would six be considered many or a small amount? Getting a job once you are plagued with these annoying little warts can make getting a job very hard. Even though most of the incidents are not considered major, its still the amount that gets everyones attention. Ice When you have six accidents/incidents on your record you don't want a seventh.
