There are too many things in life that I fear to keep track of but today I talk about some of those lighter fears and how I choose to respond to them.

I've been embracing humor as a perspective and learning how to not take myself so seriously.

I talk about the culture of generosity and giving in Lesotho and how I've struggled to accept such gifts.

While living abroad, I often miss different things from the US. There are some times when pieces of familiarity keep me grounded.

It's hard to live life without comparing yourself to others but I don't think comparison always has to be a bad thing,

As a partial follow-up to my previous episode on privilege, I discuss the importance of security, particularly in regards to the basic necessity of water. While the episode is titled Security, I discuss my challenges with water insecurity and what that means to me.

Over the past year+ I've learned a lot about privileges I have as an American living abroad and what that means to me.

Life is full of different perspectives and it's important to remember to put things into perspective and be open to adopting new perspectives.

Kwok Talk is back!!! Whether it's a means of coping or making the best of a situation, I somehow adapt to my current realities to find normalcy but forget about how life can sometimes be different.

I have never been more aware of my race than during my Peace Corps service. It's been an adventure navigating being a Chinese American living in an African nation and all of the different cultural identities attached to those three vastly different regions.

Sometimes I'm not always as collected as I'd like to be. I share a couple examples of frustrations and my reactions to them.

A huge part of my life is making adjustments, whether it be related to work or perspective. I recently took a quick trip to the US, forcing me to adjust to the different transitions. As a side note, I apologize for not posting in a while. Things were crazy back in the US and then I broke my laptop.
