This week we speak with Dr. Kimo Alameda, of the Hawaii County Office of Aging and our Hawaii Island staff about how cross-sector collaboration and partnerships are bringing solutions to people affected by the erupting volcano.

Darcie speaks with the mother of two Hanalei Elementary students who just returned to school. We also hear from Kauai County Councilmember Mason Chock, and community organizer Mehana Vaughn, about early recovery efforts.

Darcie talks with Dr. Kawika B. Winter - Director of Limahuli Garden & Preserve about how they are contributing to the recovery effort after many communities have been damaged by the storms of April 14 and 15.
