This episode features Ms. Marueen Ritter and Mr. Kevin Farrell, two English teachers at Grayslake Central High School. Maureen and Kevin discuss their first foray into a large scale Project Based Learning experience for their students. A great discussion on PBL, risk taking, deliberate messiness and ambiguity, and letting students take control in their learning.  

On March 9, Grayslake North High School will host "The Big Game," a Spring pep assembly that centers around a Special Olympics basketball game between D127 and the Wauconda Bulldogs. The game has become a schoolwide event, bringing together the entire student body, faculty, and the community. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of kindness and inclusion.

The National Art Honors Society has been been painting murals around Grayslake Central High School and around town! This podcast discusses their goals and artistic process. 

PSP is a project management class in which students learn leadership and management skills through the planning and implementation of service projects. It integrates the curriculum with service learning and gives students an opportunity to transfer classroom learning into real life experiences.
