  • Vintage Pop! Episode 8: The Guys from The Neighborhood: Diner/Mean Streets

    30/04/2018 Duração: 44min

Yes! I am alive if you were wondering. Apologies for hitting a snag in producing a show every week. School and everyday life got slightly out of hand for a bit. I was able to put a new show together though. Thanks to everyone who has still been downloading and listening through the past few weeks I really appreciate it.    This week, we talk about two great relatable films. The first film we will discuss is 1982's Diner, directed by Barry Levinson. A great ensemble cast in this one, including: Steve Guttenberg, Paul Reiser, Kevin Bacon, Mickey Rourke, and Daniel Stern. Later we will talk about another one of my personal favorites, Mean Streets from 1973. This classic directed by Martin Scorsese, shows a slice of life in Little Italy in the late 60's/ early 70's. As always we will talk about some past and upcoming events.    Please subscribe and leave us a review wherever you get our podcast!    We are now on Stitcher!: Stitcher Link Twitter: @VintagePopCast Listener Ema
