We are here to offer education on becoming your own medical advocate. The goal is to offer further knowledge, communication skills, and suggestions for patients and their medical teams that benefit both standards of expectation and care. The leader of Flipside Standards, Andrea Leber created the community and podcast as a way to give people a space to learn how to navigate their healthcare after struggling for several years with their medical care. Here we have created a space for people to share experience and knowledge from managing insurance, to creating confidence in asking questions and pursuing ultimate health goals by working as a team with your medical professionals. Flipside Standards is not affiliated with any medical groups, professionals, or a private advocate of any one individual. Flipside Standards is an individually controlled and monitored site dedicated to creating a community space for members to communicate experiences and ideas on an open platform.
