This week we take a slight detour in the schedule for a couple episodes that were supposed to air in Season 3 but wound up coming out in Season 5 instead. Scott, still mourning for Jean, takes time to revisit his roots, and battles a mind-controlling super-villain to save some young mutants in the process. Meanwhile the rest of the X-Men have their hands full when their old interdimensional nemesis Mojo chases Longshot to their doorstep. Let's dig into "No Mutant is an Island" and "Longshot"!

Season 3 kicks into high gear with the show's biggest multi-parter of all! A threat from outer space has arrived on Earth's doorstep, and the X-Men are the only ones who can stop it whether they're ready or not. Jean Grey undergoes a shocking transformation, Professor X finds a new epic romance, and Cyclops discovers a face from his past. New allies and new enemies gather, and when all is said and done, the X-Men--and maybe the whole world--will never be the same! Gather round for the classic tale that is 'The Phoenix Saga!'

Season 3 is here and we've got adamantium claws to spare! Wolverine discovers a former flame is back in town leading a gang of cyborg mercenaries and rocking a lethal manicure. But that's soon the least of his worries because somebody switched off the "Do Not Disturb" sign over the fiery, soul-slurping madball from outer space. Let's slice open this tin can of a season with "Out of the Past, Parts 1 & 2"!

The lavish revival of our beloved X-Men animated series has arrived, so we had to talk about it. 

Dinos and mutates and frogs, oh my! All forces converge at the Savage Land for the rip-roaring conclusion! Time to close out with "Reunion: Part Two" and look back at the highs and lows of X-MEN's sophomore season.

Mojo from Mojoworld has arrived to Mojo all over the X-Men. But our heroes soon have more important things to worry about when they finally hear from Morph and Professor X, as Mr. Sinister makes his move. Let's Mojo on into 'Mojovision' and 'Reunion: Part One!'

And we are BACK! Season 2 soldiers on with one more pair of character-focused episodes. Rogue is having a bad day when voices in her head force her to finally recall her origin story, where there are no winners. Meanwhile Beast meets himself a love interest. When the FOH's arrive to break them up, Wolverine is on the case to break them back. Let's dive into 'A Rogue's Tale' and 'Beauty and the Beast.' 

Bishop's back from the future to stop a dastardly plague from wiping out all mutants, but Cable's dropping in from the extra future to stop Bishop from doing too good a job. It's the rip-roaring time-travel showdown you've been waiting for as we dive into 'Time Fugitives'!

Season 2 continues with another pair of character-focused episodes ranging from the snowy hills of Canada to the swampy marshes of New Orleans. The two X-Men with the shadiest backstories each head back to their old stomping grounds to meet up with their original super-powered crews. Except it turns out those old crews are all selfish jerks, and our guys would much rather stick with their merry band of mutants after all. Let's dive into 'Repo Man' and 'X-Ternally Yours'! 

Back again from a lengthy hiatus, where we rejoin our merry band of mutants in their travels from the slopes of Kilimanjaro to the tank-infested snows of Siberia as old enemies return from banishment to wreak fresh havoc on the X-Men's home lives. I told you this season had themes! Let's dig into "Whatever It Takes" and "Red Dawn!"  

We return at last as the second season commences! Things seem to be going well for the X-Men, as Scott and Jean get married (despite Logan's murderous jealousy from the sidelines), and a new pro-mutant president is sworn in. But a familiar face(s) has returned to mess with the team, a new hate group is tearing up the streets, and a new big bad guy is overseeing it all.  Time to break down 'Til Death Do Us Part: Part One and Two."

It's going down for the world to see in the first season finale as enemies become allies to stop the extra-giant robot with the weird brain surgery kink. Let's dig into "The Final Decision", plus a look back at the highs and lows of X-MEN's first season!

Olivia (@olivyum) joins us again via Zoom to discuss another dark-fantasy cult classic, this one an animated film from the Rankin-Bass studio based on the book by Peter S. Beagle. Get ready for an adventure with themes of magic, mortality, and Red Bulls with THE LAST UNICORN! A scientist on Muir Island has developed a cure for the X-gene, and mutants are lining up around the block to enlist the doctor's services (such as Rogue), or to take him out permanently (such as Cable and the Freedom Force). But the so-called Cure is not what it seems, and is concealing something truly Apocalyptic. Let's dig into "The Cure" and Come the Apocalypse!"

Take a big ol' scoop of Jim Henson's puppet-filled mind, pour in some signature David Bowie glam, top it off with some teenage Jennifer Connelly, and bake to perfection!  Olivia (@olivyum) joins us via Zoom to discuss the 80s Muppet-goblin-fueled dark-fantasy cult classic LABYRINTH!

We're back to tackle a pair of episodes packed with guest-stars. The X-Men discover the hard way that Genosha isn't the safe haven it was advertised as, but is really a slave compound where their fellow mutants are forced to build Sentinels. They escape that disaster only to find another, as the Juggernaut arrives to wreck the mansion and tear up the city. 

Justin Kemmling (@justinkemmling) joins us again via Zoom to bust open the seminal sci-fi-horror-comedy classic from 1984, where a trio of ne'er-do-well scientists (and one late-arriving civilian) start their own paranormal business, just in time to save New York City and the world! Hell, you probably know the story already. It's GHOSTBUSTERS!

The first season takes a left turn as the X-Men go underground to fight some horny mutant hobos, then Wolverine heads north to hang with some natives while Sabretooth throws giant snowballs at him cuz he's a dick. Let's dig into "Captive Hearts" and "Cold Vengeance"!
