There are 4 phases to the caterpillar and in some way to you. 1. You have an egg: God’s identity planted in you. 2. You have the caterpillar: growing in your identity. 3. You have the chrysalis: the season of transformation, and finally you have the butterfly: walking in your full identity. As believers in Christ, we all are on a transformation journey. We are in constant change and reformation in order to be a better believer and disciple of Christ. Just like a caterpillar doesn’t stay the same, God is calling each of us to grow, change and walk in our full identity in Christ. The process may seem slow, difficult and challenging, but we are not meant to remain in the same format, we were meant to change and to fly just like the butterfly!

Who is Jesus to you? Who do you claim Him to be in your life? is He your Lord and Savior? Is he your protector and provider? Who is He to you? Have you identified what role He plays in your life? If you have, how has that changed over the years.  We’ll see Him today as the Total Servant, the Servant Leader, the Commanding Servant, and the Suffering Servant.

Most, if not all, of us have experienced some type of anxiety in our lives. We have been anxious with the birth of our children, the impending death of our loved ones, or the possibility of a new job. Whatever the case is, we have been anxious. But there is a difference between the everyday anxiety and an anxiety disorder. The textbook definition for anxiety disorder is an intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Often, anxiety disorders involve repeated episodes of sudden feelings of intense anxiety and fear or terror that reach a peak within minutes also known as panic attacks. As believers, we need to take it a step further. We need prayer, peace, God’s promises and praises to find The Cure for Anxiety.

Many times in our lives, we are barely holding on. God tells us not to give up, stand strong during adversity and to be prepared. Times are tough, but God is tougher. Just tell folk that you're praising your way through this barren land.

Have you called 911 yet? Have you called on Jesus to get you through your difficult times and situations? If I were to title this sermon it would simply be, 911 Does Work. I just have 3 points I want to make. God will deliver. God will answer. God’s help comes through Christ.

There are five requirements for becoming a vessel God can use. First, you must accept the way God made you. Second, you must be emptied of self to make room for God. Thirdly, you must allow God to cleanse you even if the process is painful. Fourthly, you must be filled and constantly refilled with the Living Water of the Holy Spirit. Finally, you must pour out your life in ministry as God directs.
