I'm a Chicago girl all day long, I'm a mom, an entrepreneur, I'm a doctoral candidate and so much more.     Ok...It's been some time. I'm not in a good mood. I'm not in a good mood because I'm in my thoughts about what folks should do, how they should do it and what it means when they don't. Learning how to stay in my lane can drive me insane. Being mindful IS NOT a walk in the park and if it was it would be a park with broken glass, random stray dogs and I don't have on any shoes LOL. It isn't easy being breezy.  This come back episode is just me confessing what it feels like to be honest about my expectations of others. My feelings get hurt when folks don't read the imaginary script I wrote for their role in my head. HOW DARE THEY!  Ultimately I get to the conclusion that I'm either jealous our lonely believing thoughts that are hurtful more easily than thoughts that aren't. The mind is a circus so no wonder I think everyone in front of me is a clown.

The hardest part of being a parent and yogi is the guilt and shame of not being good at breathing and using the practice in my home. Resentment is real.
