Ronny J discusses Cosmic Thing with Nat - a local hairstylist.  She's fun and upbeat, just like the album itself.  She celebrates being different and the weirdness of the band - arguably the definitive party band.  This is the healing album for the band members who had suffered in devastating loss following the death of founding member Ricky Wilson.  If you're into dancing in torn sheets in the rain, aliens, and have a taste for lobster, then this is the band for you!

Ronny J has a sit down with fellow podcaster and long time friend Phil to talk about Weezer's debut album - you know - that blue one.  We both loved this record during high school, though at the time I had a cassette tape that was worn to shreds.  We look at how Weezer bucked the grunge trends of the Nineties and examine the effect this had on us young California kids, including his radical surfer wife!  This is just the album to help overcome the current winter horrid-ness and transport you to a warmer season.

Ronny J discusses R.E.M.'s Green, the album which took them from college rock to arena band.  He interviews Christina, an amazing person with a long history of music and talent - Formerly of the local Utah band "Masters of None" with her husband Joe and currently sings occasionally in a vocal trio called "The Crusty Peeps".  We talk about the implied meanings behind some of the songs on the album, along with her unexpected run ins with R.E.M. lead singer Michael Stipe, and the overall influence on her young life and beyond.

Ronny J talks classic Christmas music with Susan, a Las Vegas native, operatic singer, and educator of young minds.  Her album of choice - A Christmas Treasure, a 60's LP that was once issued exclusively in Firestone stores - you read that right.
