At the end of our series on upgrading, today we talk about consoles, and the cost of upgrading your consoles. In the middle of a minor leap in consoles, as we look at 4K gaming, and its inclusion on the next model of the current generations.

This week on the show we are talking about the idea of isolation and loneliness in gaming. The springboard for this was a lot of the initial comments that came up about No Man's Sky, and feeling alone in the world. Some weeks later, this has turned into one of the biggest strengths of the game. Before the internet, LAN events were the only way to play large scale multiplayer games. LAN cafes have mostly closed but LAN events continue to thrive. E3 is the biggest gaming convention in the English speaking world and it finished just the other day. We got to view it from afar thanks to the interwebs. In this episode we share our thoughts on this year's gaming bonanza. Tripod are arguably Australia's greatest musical comedy group. They're also really into video games; to the point where they wrote an entire show about them!
