Love Me That Duke

In this episode, Duke calls up Waffles randomly and creates a great hour of radio.  A lot of racism against every group, sexism, gay jokes, and just general fuckery are featured in this episode.  It's a no holds bar treat where you just get to hear two friends enjoying each other's company.  This is the first episode of March with at least one more coming.  You also get to learn where Duke might be headed in the future with his lady, and the things that Waffles is missing in his life.  Both of the hosts left this episode thinking that this is their finest work.  Enjoy and feel free to complain or call the all the names you want to.  It'll only serve to make them laugh and continue their work if you do.

This is the first and only episode for the month of April.  The original episode has a fault with one of the guests.  It is impossible to hear him and our staff doesn't know how to edit the sound to be easily understood.  The result is that there is only one episode this month.  It is sort of the one year anniversary episode.  The show has been around for a year and the hosts are all still alive and willing to do it... sorta.  This episode is being posted right on the wire.  Duke calls his mother and this is the first and only time she has ever been recorded. Enjoy the conversation.  We're not sure if this episode is going to post in February or not.  The clock just changed to Midnight here.  Lets hope this counts towards February.

Good news!  True to his word, Duke managed to squeeze out another episode.  This one is a solo show, but contains some conversations that he had with some people over the past few days.  The solo section talks about the future of the show, an upcoming trip to New York, and the challenges of dating an Asian.  Like from Asia Asian.  Next is a conversation with Ernbomb, Duke's longtime friend.  There are no filters for this guy, so enjoy as he tears the world apart with his brand of... English?  Not quite sure.  The episode ends with a conversation with Rodrick, who talks about his ex girlfriend Squirrel and his current lady, Chipmunk.  It's a good one and a great way to continue the show.  Lets hope the one year celebration will have a lot more laughs and far less drunk Duke.  Can you believe it's been a year?

It's the first episode of 2018.  We see a return of Rodrick, the lovable cohost that started the show with Duke way back in 2017 around the same time.  Rodrick returns to talk about the current status of his relationship, his future plans, as well as the upcoming trip for Duke's brother's wedding.  It's an episode filled with joy and it was a lot of fun to be a part of.  Join our host Duke and his cohost Rodrick as they talk about old times as well as the new times they are going to have in their upcoming reunion two years in the making.  Join us for future episodes in the year 2018 as well.  The show will continue to be strong and fun.

Waffles makes his return.  It's not the first time.  The last episode recorded was lost to the ether and Duke is pretty fucking pissed about that. This one is pretty good too.  Family is talked about, as well as the beginnings of a budding relationship between Duke and his lady.  A second episode based on the recording made here that will be released soon.  Enjoy this episode as you would any other.  The show is very happy to have Waffles back because he is the true talent in the show.

One more solo show with Duke.  He is still confident that the cohost Waffles will return from his sabbatical across the world and share some of his stories, but to the rest of us who know better, we're not holding our breath.  Duke talks about moving into his new apartment, the tragedies of Tinder dating, and the hope for a future girl that he is currently working on wooing.  He pours his heart out a bit about his side girl, whom he has a deep affection for, but even that is coming to an end.  It's an episode about difficult endings and unsure beginnings.  Listen to this tired dumbass tell his stories and communicate his feelings to the world.  Also, his brother finally paid him back the money he owed him.  Pretty sweet, right?

Duke flies solo once again.  It's been 2 weeks since the last recording an a mountain of events both sexual and date related have occurred.  Listen to the story of his triumphant return to Thailand to hook up again with the same girl from before.  Also included are the Tinder triumphs and failures, the possibilities of future relationships, and some great stories about apartment hunting.  There is a lot in this episode and it goes by much faster than you think.  Good thing he was prepared with show prep this time or else he wouldn't have remember half the stories that unfold.  Enjoy this very fast paced hour.  The next episode should mark the triumphant return of Waffles, but who knows.  That guy is very flakey.  He could never return and we all have to be okay with that.  He has returned to his pot head ways.  The future is bright, and this is a complete feel good episode recorded from a hotel room this time.  Enjoy.

This episode features stories from Duke's recent trip to Thailand, where he met with dangers and delights.  It was recorded in a common space, so his voice is very low.  It's a solo episode and one that goes to the areas that regular listeners of the show know so well.  Duke describes the best sexual performance he's ever given and with the hottest prostitute he's ever been with.  There are also stories about what it is like to live long term in a hostel and the future of his dating adventures with Tinder.  All this can be yours for the low low price of just $0.  Thanks for being a listener.

This episode is a bit different from the others.  It's a lost tapes episode which means that it is composed of material recorded from other episodes that did not make the cut for the original airing.  There are many reasons why these clips were cut in the beginning, but now, through the window of time, we get a chance to hear things that until this point were kept a secret.  Join Rodrick, Duke, and Waffles in a journey through time to a few months ago when we were all in the middle of one crisis or another.  Duke was still dating Mandy, but the wheels were coming off.  Rodrick was in some weird relationship with a girl that just wanted sexual release.  Waffles was having difficulty explaining to Asians how much Oklahoma City sucks.  It is interesting to listen to these old tapes.  What do you make of us?

This is the next episode of "Love Me That Duke".  Duke goes about this one completely Solo.  There is a lot of introspection about his place in the world of broadcasting, and it leaves us all with a hope that he will continue to work harder and figure out what his true strength is as a host.  There is also a considerable amount of time spent updating the listeners on the events of Waffles, Rodrick, and Steven as well as the future of staying or going in Taiwan, a decision which was not made lightly.  A surprise proposal is also issued.  While controversial to those who are ignorant to the true suffering of others, the man behind the proposal happens to be one of the greatest thinkers of our generation.  Lets hope that works out for our brave podcast host.  Enjoy the latest installment and try to forgive the man for making an entire podcast with a stuffy nose.

Duke is solo this episode.  Waffles is out of town.  Pretty Boy is still recovering, and guests are afraid of the awesomeness of the show.  The first 16 minutes are focused on a problem that Duke has had for many years and is finally trying to address in an open forum.  The inability to properly articulate how he feels due to fears of rejection.  The rest of the episode is a much anticipated return of Rodrick with some great stories and some good laughs from his life, though Duke was preeeeeetty high for that part.  There is a lot to process in here and even more to love.  Lets hope Duke travels to Singapore after this is posted.

Duke gives some updates to some previous cohosts and guests such as Rodrick and Steven.  Guest interview Gilkey tells about some of his adventures in other countries and about some life changing things that have happened to him.  Pretty boy makes an unwilling appearance later on as well.  There is a lot in this episode and jokes to boot.  A fine listening experience and one of our best shows ever.  Enjoy the racism, sexism, and foodism.  

The boys are once again abandoned by their potential 3rd host seat filler.  It's okay though.  They're brave.  Join them in this adventure through podcasting as they laugh about ridiculous propaganda posters and current day racism.  More talk about the brightness of the future and how living a life of corporate shackles is the devil's work!  There are a lot of laughs in here, and some great revelations about potential future relationships.  Once you hear it, you can't un hear it.  Are you blessed with stones big enough to handle it?

The fellas are once again joined by Pretty Boy.  He has a massive hangover during this one, so don't expect too much.  But do expect him to come back to the show more often because we love the little guy.  Duke has a story to tell about smuggling drugs through borders and some general prostitution goodness.  Waffles talks about being fired from his job for having relations with one of the student's parents.  Pretty Boy talks about getting drunk.  It's a different kind of episode because it goes back and looks at material that happened in previous episodes of the show.  It's a very strange episode, but a great one non the less.  I'm as proud of this effort as any other.  Love to all the fans.

This week the fellas are joined by a special guest going by the name pretty boy.  He's a swell guy and has a lot of interesting things to say.  The conversations go from advice for careers and future to general horsing around and making a lot of dick jokes.  You know, the stuff that you're used to if you're a regular listener.  This one was a pleasure to edit and lets hope that the special guest returns for more episodes.  A third mic is a precious resource. 

Starting off July with a solid episode filled with conversation.  The fellas talk about what is going on in their lives over the last few weeks.  Waffles talks about his ongoing struggle to stay or leave Korea, Duke talks about a failure at trying to pick up a he even bombs a few times.  Sobriety is treating our heroes well.  

In this episode, the fellas give a long update to the goings on in their lives.  We learn about some travel plans from Duke that are probably the coolest ones ever devised, and we also learn about some heart break, some death, and new ideas to get celebrity guests.  There is a Rodrick update, he might be coming back, and you'll have to listen to find out why.  The last 20 minutes are devoted to a long conversation about cultural appropriation and the attitude of people that have nothing better to do except complain because their life is so good.  This episode is a lot more conversational and flows from one topic to another.  Enjoy and thanks for giving us an hour of your time.

This episode should be number 11, but due to some technical difficulties, the episode done in Korea was lost.  Waffles and Duke don't bother to discuss any of the topics they did on the lost episode because that was the past and this is the present.  This episode has Waffles reflect further on his future and the choices he makes.  Duke discusses his feelings about Korea and the idea of returning.  There is also a little debate about whether or not a person can be creative no matter where they live in the world.  Join the fellas for some good conversations about taking firm shits, horse abuse, and not getting the abortion this time.  It is said many times, but this might be their best work yet.  Thanks for listening. P.S.  This episode runs over 90 minutes to make up for some of the lost episode.  We feel like you lost an hour, so we're going to make it up to you.

In this episode, Waffles and Duke discuss the world of the sex trade in major Asian countries.  While there is an overview of how the practices work in several countries, Hong Kong will be the main focus, as both of them have had some excellent times.  Duke will be telling stories about some of the adventures he had as well as Waffles in the New York of Asia.  There were many stories that get much sexier, but those will have to wait until another day.  There is also a little bit of philosophy squeezed in there, as well as some influences that have just entered their psyche.  This might be the best episode of the show ever made.  It is a very entertaining and masterfully done episode.  If you enjoy this one, tell your friends!

This episode marks the first time that the hosts have been sober during the taping.  The jokes are less apparent, but the conversation is much easier to follow and the subjects actually make it to the end of the trail.  The show is starting to become less about relationships and more about our lives and what happens to us.  This might be the first episode of this new concept being taken on and we hope that this leads to a more complete show.  We're always working on this and making it as good as possible.  Leave any feedback you got!
