Youngstown Spotlight

I have put together my own afterschool program called KayD Communications and Broadcasting. My goal for years has been to work in radio and/or television. Well that hasn't happened yet but I do have my own show. I have decided to share my knowledge and love for radio and television with the youth in my city Youngstown. Here is their final project on their mock news broadcast. SHOUT OUT to MLK Elementary, the students and staff involved!!

Cris Carter is from Youngstown and is taking entertainment to the next level. Young man creating his dreams and now he has the opportunity to make them a reality. He will be going to Los Angeles, California to show his talent off to talent agency. Tune in to hear more about Cris and his next adventure.

A brand new consignment is opening in Youngstown to bring a new vibe to the community. I will be there live to speak to the owners, people who are a part and to let you all know what's going on at Kidz Treasures. This consignment shop is for children and the sizes they are looking for are New Born-14 as well as accesories and toys. Anyone in Youngstown come out and show support and anyone not in Youngstown tune in for a great time.

Melanie R., Writer/Director/Producer, created a book called "How the Wife Becomes the other Woman." After having a book signing and a lot of people making noise about her book she decided to make the book into a stage play. The cast members are set and ready to hit the stage on November 29, 2014. Tune in to learn more about Melanie and her stage play.

Today is the actually ceremony and all the nominees will be in the building (The Cleveland Masonic Center) to find out who will win. I will get all the backstage activities as well as speak to the nominees of tonight's award show. After party is tonight at Vada Nightclub in Downtown Cleveland.
