Things are getting hectic around here again, so this is an episode we've had in the can for a while. It is another in what we think of as our side quest episodes, wherein we play non RPGs. We hope you enjoy it!

We look into the past again to find players who were clearly getting tired of a lengthy combat.  I hope you enjoy hearing dice rolling and descriptions of combat because that's all you get in this episode.   There is some good stuff in here, the old system was designed to emulate high action and furious melee in aggressive detail.

In this episode we continue our look into the past when the Five Fists of Dice still hadn't gotten used to the mic and the game system slowed combat to a crawl. The soldiers are ambushed by barbarians and a fight begins.  The find then continues until the end of the episode.  Players have side conversations, there are some jokes, and the GM tries to keep things moving along at a reasonable pace.

In this episode of Five Fists of Dice we find out what it sounds like when the Five Fists of Dice get their hands on a microphone and start recording their games. At the table we begin a prologue and by giving the players pre-made soldier characters so they can experience a little brutality and investigation in the barbarian controlled northern country.  They don't actually find any barbarians in this episode, but they do make camp so strap in for some navigation and carousing checks.

They got a little bitey, but we pulled through.
