This week, we focus on the emotion of boredom, and are challenged together to stand as soldiers of Christ - letting boredom point us to Jesus instead of an escape in what the world has to offer.

Isaiah 6:1-7 "The Holiness of God"

In this episode, Spencer invites upperclassmen Easton Day and Aidan Bailey into a discuss about leaning into both obedience and grace when they are difficult. The question is this: "When people look back on our story - will they see someone who ran from God's calling? Or will they see someone who leaned in and reflected God's heart to others who didn't deserve it?"

With a panel of students representing from North Paulding, East Paulding, Allatoona, and Hiram High School, we discuss what it looks like to be set apart as an ambassador for Jesus Christ on your schools campus. 

In this episode, seniors Spencer Lee, Judson Estes, and Tate Ford break down how important it is that we are submitting the words we speak to the Lord. Together, the three dive into what the Bible says about the dangers of the tongue, as well as how this plays out in our world as high school students.

In James 3, James writes to the power that the tongue possesses by highlighting that it is disporportionate in strength to its size, that we are helpless to tame it on our own, and that it reveals our heart. Pastor Zach encourages in this sermon that we would choose to change and let Jesus work on our life because thats when we can truly live set apart in this area. 

As we continue in our Reckless kickoff series called Set Apart, guest speaker Isabella Howard speaks from Luke 7 and examines the story of the immoral woman who meets Jesus to find that He desires authenticity from us in bringing ourselves to Him. 

Guests on the podcast, Eddie Acosta and Avery Hampton, discuss with host Spencer Lee how Jesus desires us in our joy and in our shame. In breaking down what it looks like to take the mask off, the guys find that the power of the love that Jesus has for us transcends the ugliness of our sin and changes us from the inside out.
