Michael joins us ahead of the Consensus Summit in New York City, which is a conference dedicated to blockchain technology and what is happening in the blockchain industry. Blockchain is a secure distributed ledger database that is used and shared by all nodes, or blocks, in the blockchain network. Information that is stored and distributed through the blockchain network is completely secure and cannot be retroactively altered. All of the nodes, or blocks, run on the same software and continuously talk to each other to validate it.

On this episode of Take 3, we dive into the concept of Minimizing Time to Value with Andy Zipfel and Paul Doman, two members of 3Pillar's Client Services' Media team. Minimizing Time to Value is a core tenet of 3Pillar's Product Mindset, which guides the way our development teams think and work. Minimizing Time to Value is the process of finding the shortest path to value when developing digital software products.

Having a serverless architecture means that developers can still build and run applications and services without the infrastructure management. Instead, all of the servers and server management are done through a third party host. This not only cuts down on storage costs, but also on time and personnel spent managing servers for applications, databases, and storage systems.
