In this fun episode, my big sister gets into the early days of Disney-MGM Studios when her college program opened the park, and her days as the first Great Movie Ride tour guide and bandit. 

This episode I spend more time with the legendary Disney (and Hollywood) composer George Wilkins. We discuss his work on Disney Parks attractions like, Horizons, The Great Movie Ride, Journey into Imagination, as well as other Disney Parks classics. Plus, we geek out a little on the advancement of recording technology from the 60's to today. A must listen!

This episode I spend some time discussing (and not trying to fanboy out too hard) with legendary film, theater, broadcast, and Disney theme park composer. In part one, we discuss George's history of directing, arranging, and composing for the US Army, CBS broadcasts, and yes, even some talk around EPCOT Center and Disney-MGM Studios. What a terrific episode this was to record.

In this episode, I relive the awesomeness that was the Disney MGM Studios. This glimpse into my favorite park really set the stage for the mainstay of my Walt Disney World career. While not specific to The Great Movie Ride, those stories are on deck, only needing a setup to why I loved the Studios so much. 

As Walt Disney World celebrates its 45th anniversary, I look back at the crazy experiences I would enjoy with my family on our family trips to the Vacation Kingdom. Whether, it was getting stuck in strollers, being ditched for Space Mountain, or fleeing from the rainstorm of seagull poop, every story was memorable. Hope you enjoy!

This episode I conclude Part 1 of Journey into Imagination by talking about Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. I also give you a brief sense of my Learning About EPCOT class, and I get a pretty sweet look at the backstage areas of Spaceship Earth. Concluding with a hazardous walk in between the show building and Spaceship's iconic silver triangles. 

In this episode I say goodbye to the warm and soothing sounds of Adventureland Merchandise and make my way to EPCOT Attractions at Journey Into Imagination. I quickly find out this is much more fun than standing in front of a register all day. Plus, you know, Robin Williams. This story is for the ages. A two-parter with Part Two coming soon.
