Tony Robbins in one of his many famous quotes says "If you want to be successful, find someone who has achieved the results you want and copy what they do and you'll achieve the same results." Physics is the most fundamental of the sciences.  Sociology (the study of human society) is fundamentally many different psychological studies put together.  Psychology (the study of the human mind) is simply how biological processes occur in our brains.  Biology (the study of living organisms) is the the study of how chemical reactions occur within organisms.  Chemistry (the study of chemicals) is essentially the study of the physical reactions that occur between chemicals.  Therefore all branches of science can be reduced down to physics. I love talking about it, however it's something I never see myself actually doing.  My thought is retire and do what?  I can't play golf for the next 50 years without going insane.  While this is my thought, it is obviously not the most popular thought because retirement is something we hear every day, especially as today the baby boomers are starting to retire. In this episode we are going to discuss several things: First - what it will take to retire financially, and some possible pitfalls.   We will look at both the baby boomer generation who is starting to retire now, as well as the millenial generation which is just now entering the workforce. These are mental models that you literally should be applying to your life every single day! First off in this episode you will get to hear Keril sing, so that alone makes it worth the listen!   We will dive into the importance of goal setting, but hopefully from a perspective you haven't really looked at before.  Writing down your 5 year goals every day is a good start, but ultimately what is that doing to make you take action each and every day?   Goals are an invaluable tool, but only if used correctly, and we are going to discuss some of our goals and how we've worked towards them.

First episode of our podcast!  Bear with us while we get the hang of this, but as we will talk about, sometimes it's better to just take action and figure it out while you are doing it.  Too many people wait until it's perfect and end up never doing anything.  Our goal is to share the skills and mindset needed to break out of Corporate America, or the so called "Rat Race" and start designing your own life.  We will talk about our successes and our failures, and share both enlightening and hilarious stories of our adventures along the way.
