Pixel by Pixel is a weekly podcast about video games (most of the time) and...other things. We did it.  2016 is in the books.  And while one could argue that it was a dumpster fire of a year in general it really proved out to be a banner year for games.   Hey guys - Its Patrick.  The PxP crew has been super busy this week so I decided to publish a sneak peak at the  first episode of the FANcave: The Official Podcast of Project FANchise.   Long and short of it - We bought and Indoor Football team and we want you, the fans, to run it.  Think a mix of Fantasy Football, Madden Play Calling, and real life football! You've been hearing me talk about this on this show for some time and excited to share with you our very first podcast.  It wont be airing regularly in this feed but thought to bring Pixel Nation a sneak peak of some of the other  things Ive been up to. This episode we essentially lose our mind about the year in games we have ahead of us.  2016 is shaping up to be... well...insane.   But before we get to all of that we talk a lot about Prince for some reason and a bunch of other nonsense. Nick is back talking about Overwatch and, believe it or not, The Taken King.  And just after that Evan and Patrick extol the virtues of Oxenfree to encourage people to give it a shot.  Its something special. We wrapped episode with some great listener questions around times we’ve  waited in line for games/consoles and the challenges of recommending games or other media to people that matter to us. (WHAT?! Ken is in Street Fighter V?!)  We are Jack’s complete lack of surprise. Nick has hit the whopping 100% in Batman: Arkham Knight and does a masterful job discussing with out revealing anything.  And thank God too. Go into that game knowing nothing.  Really, trust us.   We spend an evening in Gotham with Nick and then circle back up on the Witcher 3, its endings, and feeling accomplished in actually finishing games.
