A24 marketing rocks. Is “The Drama” a drama? I mean sure, kinda, but it’s also a comedy, and “The Comedy” is already a movie so what were they supposed to call this thing? “The Dark Comedy” or “The Edgy Comedy” don’t really have the same ring to it. Tonally, does the final product match the expectations laid out by the several teasers and trailers? Nope, not really, but that’s marketing 101 baby! Gotta keep the people guessing.
