One Man's Garbage

For the 50th episode, I decided I wanted to do my #1 favorite movie.   The Crow is also Owen Anderson's favorite movie so he's on the episode.   Wheelz joins us as well.   Fair warning: some things get a little heavy and personal on this episode, so listen at your own risk.

Okay, so, this is basically a Neil Street Nightmare episode, but with Mike and Nikki being my main OMG people, I decided to put this episode on both pages.   And this is their first time recording with Wheelz.   We talk about the movie, poke some fun at the "Room 237" "documentary" and Nikki talks about her sleep disorders.  Also, I give a mini-review of "A Beginner's Guide to Snuff".

No, this is not a boxing movie.    Mike, Nikki and I discuss this twisted little movie from 1993 which stars Julian Sands, Sherilyn Fenn and the late, great Bill Paxton.

Mike, Nikki and I discuss the suspense thriller, The Guest.    The movie stars Dan Stevens who is playing The Beast in the live action Beauty and the Beast movie.   In The Guest, he plays the nicest ex-military psycho killer I've ever seen.  hehe

It's the premier of my new all horror movie themed podcast, Neil Street Nightmare!   Wheelz and I are taking turns picking horror movies to review.   We're starting with Adam Green's old-school horror romp, Hatchet.   Also included on this episode are bonus mini-reviews of Stake Land and Stake Land II.

Mike, Nikki and I discuss the rock&roll vampire comedy: Suck.  This movie features Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, Henry Rollins and Malcolm McDowell.

Mike, Nikki and I discuss the action packed Firefly sci-fi movie - Serenity.

Wheelz, Richard and I look at this 80's zombie/comedy/horror classic.   Also, hints are dropped about a new podcast.

Mike, Nikki and I once again try to talk about a well-known movie without revealing what it is that we're talking about.   We last about 5 minutes this time.   Hint: Stardust

Went out and pestered people again.   This time at Chicago's Days of the Dead Horror Convention.   People I talked to include Felissa Rose (from Sleepaway Camp), Mark Patton (from Nightmare on Elm Street 2) and St. Mark (from Spike TV's Ink Masters) as well as indie film directors Thomas Nicol and Brooklyn Ewing.   Also went through the crown asking people to recommend movie for future episodes.
