Marshall Jefferson is one of the founding fathers of house music as it is known today. Born in Chicago in 1959, Marshall was a central figure in the development of the Chicago house scene and produced seminal house anthems including 'Move Your Body', '7 Ways To Jack' and 'Open Our Eyes'. He has worked with the best in the business, from fellow founding father Frankie Knuckles to Roy Davis Jr., Steve 'Silk' Hurley, Felix Da Housecat and Lil Louis. Marshall has had a leading hand in the growth of the acid and deep house movements and even today continues to evolve these genres amid dooms-dayers predicting their collective demise.

AZARI formally of AZARI & III, the influential electronic band who blurred the lines between sounds, scenes, styles and cultures as they repeatedly played all over the world. AZARI is a mysterious embodiment of free thinking and unrestrained creativity that is utterly honest and heartfelt. It's a social experiment that aims to drive music–rather than the musicians involved–into new realms. Having proven his skills to the world, then, AZARI is focused on saying whatever he wants, however, he wants to say it. This project is a reaction to perfection and predictability, a reminder that you don't have to fit into function. It's a return to the raw, expressive and rule-breaking days of punk and acid house. It embodies forward-thinking music, art and visuals that have the power to incite shock and awe. It's for a generation that looks beyond labels. It's a project that places equal power with all genders, sexualities and races, and draws in outsiders at odds with the world's current categories. 

International DJ, producer, remixer and label owner Sharam Jey has been shaking up the world of dance music since the early 90s with his infectious and accessible dance-floor ready grooves. Over the years, the Cologne-based Iran-born artist has racked up numerous accolades and achievements including releasing 3 acclaimed albums (4 Da Loverz in 2005 & In My Blood in 2009, Invisible in 2018), having over 100 releases on some of dance music's most established labels.

GotSome is UK producer and DJ extraordinaire Adam Gorsky, a man who has been on an upward trajectory since his arrival on the international circuit in 2014. In a short space of time, he has clocked up a series of achievements and career highlights that place him at the forefront of this generation of talented British producers. In the earlier days, Adam's skills spawned a slew of bass-heavy, dance floor destroyers such as 'Bassline', championed by Radio 1's B.Traits and Annie Mac and signed to Defected Records with a huge package of remixes from house legend Kenny Dope, Friend Within, Chus + Ceballos and Chocolate Puma.

From its trail-blazing 90s rave days to giving birth to the world-conquering Tomorrowland, Belgium has long punched above its modest size in the world of electronic music. Now rising star Siege, whose techy take on the house has graced labels from Strictly Rhythm and ABODE Records to Toolroom and Glasgow Underground adds to the influential acts that it has gifted the world. Raised in Hasselt, outside of Belgium's best-known clubbing centres, Siege, aka Sieg Motmans, is a beacon for the power of focus and self-determination. From recording tracks off the radio on a tape player given to him by his grandfather to buying a mixer to try to learn to mix with this and a CD player, the desire to play music has always been with him.

With 25+ years of DJ experience, still loving dj-ing like he's just started. Steve Parry has a Frisky Radio monthly show, runs Selador Recordings (with Dave Seaman), Is the head honcho at SMP3 Music Promo and SMP3 Music Management. A working DJ since the age of 15, Steve has amassed a wealth of musical knowledge and honed some serious DJ skills over his time working as manager of the world famous 3 Beat records, a 3 year residency at Cream in Liverpool and a host of headlining gigs across the globe.

Born out of the Toronto underground clubbing scene, Nathan Barato holds a firm place as one of the most sought after names in the industry. Masterfully blending house and techno, his unmistakable sound has opened doors to residencies with Music On and Paradise as well as securing bookings at a long list of top clubs across the globe. His no holds barred attitude to production has seen him drop dynamite releases on a diverse range of prestigious labels including Hot Creations, Hottrax, Relief, Saved Records and many more. Yet, Nathan still finds time to spearhead his own imprint RAWthentic alongside Carlo Lio, signing heavy-hitting records with a unique gritty edge.

Roland Leesker lives for and has loved electronic music since 1989 – the year of his debut as a House DJ on the Frankfurt bar scene. A measure of his quality is that just two years later he became the resident DJ in clubs like Wild Pitch, XS and Dorian Gray. Back then, like many DJs, by day you could find him working in a local vinyl shop, Derlirium Records, serving up tastemakers like Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier and DJ T. – to name just a few of the regulars. In 1995 Roland left Frankfurt for New York City, where he would open the first international branch of Delirium Records. Thanks to that move he ended up playing with and producing artists that are legends today. Slaving away with Ricardo Villalobos in his living room, where they produced under the moniker ER + ER, creating loops with John Selway at New York ́s Satellite basement, working as a light jockey for Joe Jam and Marc Spoon, spinning together with Cajmere and ATA at the Wild Pitch Club, and all the while running various music

Raised in Catalan on the sounds of 90s house, Piem was destined to explore the world of underground music. Always ahead of his time, Piem made his DJ debut aged 16 in a club for over 21s. Piem has since become a firm favourite on the club scene in Barcelona, where he performs at all of the most popular and iconic venues. These include W Hotel Barcelona, W Hotel Londonand CDLC Barcelona, for both of which he has residencies. Piem is known for the seemingly effortless way he delivers a crowd-pleasing sound that is truly underground, rooted in natural grooves and solid bass lines.

Berlin DJ and producer Jacob Dilssner aka Wankelmut ranks among the most popular and renowned representatives of electronic music "made in Germany". Born and raised in Berlin, the 30-year-old made his break in 2012, when his remix for Asaf Avidan's "One Day / Reckoning Song" soared to #1 in eight European countries, resulting in over two million records sold to date as well as a multitude of Gold and Platinum Awards.

Cuartero makes his welcome return to Saved this month with his 'Feeling Back' EP. With releases on Hot Creations, Desolat, Knee Deep In Sound and Circus under his belt and countless shows and residencies in some of the biggest clubs, it's clear to see why this DJ and producer is highly sought after across the globe. Lead track 'Feeling Back' kicks off the EP, a collaboration with fellow Spanish DJ; Soulrack, the track oozes that raw, underground tech sound with chopped stabs, filtered vocals and a funky bassline. 'Ven Machadino' completes the EP bringing a tribal feel with dynamic drums, playful hats and hooky vocals licks.

Alex Stein is a true Brazilian homegrown artist that has his roots all the way from the old continent, his German background compelled him day by day to work harder & harder to achieve his unique electronic sound, from an early age he knew this was the way to go. After much work, he finally sees the results of his commitment to his greatest passion, he represents well this brand new generation of Brazilian electronic artists, with each of his releases one is bigger than the next, only releasing on the biggest international labels, and sales have surpassed all expectations.

There is an air of mystery shrouding the true meaning behind the acronym of M.A.N.D.Y., an alias which embodies the mutual talents of childhood friends Philipp Jung and Patrick Bodmer. The pair readily indulge this curiosity by toying with various clever possibilities, including Me AND You, but the truth is likely a giggle under each of their talented breaths. P and P have carved a unique niche in electronic music by consistently selecting productions that induce their audience into a somatic frenzy. On the platform of their aptly titled Get Physical label, M.A.N.D.Y. has achieved massive success in colluding to create music that simply makes bodies move. Their foot stamping, hair flying passion is the ultimate expression of a dance music phenomenon for many years.  Now as just Patrick continuing as M.A.N.D.Y he strives forward into 2019 which a packed schedule including the upcoming SXM Festival – which is making its return to the Caribbean Island of Saint Martin/Sint Maarten between March 13-17 20

A DJ that needs no introductions; Max Chapman, makes his welcome return to Kaluki this month with latest single, 'Steppa'. Since bursting onto the scene in 2011, Max has cemented his career in the underground House scene with countless Beatport top tens, releases on FFRR, Virgin, Relief, Sola and Toolroom, and shows at some of the most influential clubs across the world. Renowned for his flawless productions and energetic live shows, new single 'Steppa' does not disappoint, fusing Chapman's signature sound with tribal percussion, shuffling drums, infectious claps and a hypnotic vocal lick.

For a while now, LEON has been making huge waves in the house music scene. Born and raised in Italy Leon's obsession with house music started at a young age after discovering the music of Danny Tenaglia, Todd Terry & Laurent Garnier, something he still regards as a major influence on his sound to this day. Djing in Italy from a young age would inevitably lead to production for someone of Leon's ability. At the age of 23 he took his first steps in the production world. However, rather than rush things he knew he needed to hone his talents. 3 years of hard work later and he is starting to bear the fruits of this work, and starting to show the world that he means business! A mighty girl from Thailand who provoked a techno revolution in her country and then alluded to Berlin, Ibiza and all corners of the global scene. A top artist who electrifies the dance floors with her infectious energy, impeccable mixing and uncompromised selection of percussive grooves. Endlessly talented, purely self-made, contagiously passionate, internationally praised - this is Nakadia, one of the most wanted DJs today.

Daniele Di Martino has a simple and direct approach to club music and is well known for his impelling mixture of Deep House and Techno. His personal experience is mirrored in his music and thus enables his audience to be part of his journey as a musician since 2013. Although a Berliner by choice, he has managed to make a name for himself beyond the capital in Ibiza, Paris, London, Zurich or Vienna. While running his own label Mono.Noise, he already has releases on labels like Bar 25 Music, Katermukke, Stil Vor Talent and Toolroom with more releases lined up for the future like Get Physical Music.

Italian producer Dino Lenny is the Fine Human Records label head who has been making music since the 90s. He's remixed huge names like Missy Elliott and Wu-Tang Clan but has also been named as "a wizard of electronic music" by the Chemical Brothers, played live with Underworld and released on the likes of Innervisions and Diynamic. Currently signed to Ellum, previous outings here like It's Saturday and Living In a Song have really established him as a master of melodic techno.

Over the last few years, Dale Howard has been able to firmly cement himself as a House music purveyor of the highest calibre. Dale's steady rise to prominence has seen him gain support from some of the biggest names in the music Industry, including Matthias Tanzmann, Steve Lawler, Jamie Jones, Richie Hawtin, Maya Jane Coles, Kenny Dope, Dennis Ferrer, DJ Sneak, Hot Since 82, Richy Ahmed and Pete Tong. Pete also featured Dale as one of his Future Stars on BBC Radio 1.  Dale's discography has also become a 'Who's who' of labels, having released music on label heavyweights like Toolroom, Objektivity, VIVa Music, Noir, Suara and Get Physical. As well as having tracks feature on compilations for Richie Hawtin's Minus, Defected and Ministry Of Sound. His unique style of House music has seen him inundated with a busy touring schedule, spanning the globe and ranging from Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Brazil, Dubai, Egypt, Ecuador, Mexico, Iceland and countless other countries.  

Talent, unwavering dedication and a hunger for new creative achievement have brought Jon Rundell long-term success. His DJ sets are fluid and fast-paced; he reads a room, and allows himself to go with his own mood and what feels right. Nevertheless, whether it's uncompromising techno or the deeper end of house, there will always be that signature groove. Rundell doesn't follow trends, adhering to his own beliefs and interests both on and off the dancefloor. As a prominent spokesperson, from publicly voicing his opinions and showing his support for Fabric after their recent temporary closure, to various panel appearances at Amsterdam Dance Event and Brighton Music Conference, Rundell speaks his mind. 2018 has seen him truly breaking out on his own, focussing on his ETCH label, releasing his tracks via streaming on Soundcloud to democratise music sharing and accessibility, a topic which led to him speaking at IMS this year on the important role streaming plays.
