After a long search for his branded sound and many years of experience in electronic music, Dmitry NekliFF decides to create his new unusual and bright project AIKON. AIKON is an artist of a new generation but with great experience in the world of electronic music. The main idea of the project is a mixture of organic sounds from Africa and the East with electronic synthesizers & electro guitars. The first release, under the name Luanda, was released on Sweet Musique and all three tracks in the EP were in the top 100 Beatport Afro House. Emil Frilund aka Skarn started djing back 2007, lighting up the monthly high school parties with electro house tunes, the sound of the times. While still in high school, Skarn started getting his first gigs at Copenhagen clubs, and has since gradually become a stable in the city’s underground music scene, with an especially close connection to Culture Box. He’s also part of the Peccāvī collective, throwing regular parties with a focus on giving talented upcoming (and sometimes established) artists their Copenhagen debut.
