Droid Today

Today is the last episode of Droid today. It's been a fun adventure which I've really enjoyed but this was always a month challenge which would only continue if certain goals were met. Unfortunately they weren't but I don't mind. I really enjoyed the experience and I hope you enjoyed listening too. But to finish we have one more episode. Check out the links!

On today's episode we have NO smartwatch news! Hurrah! Instead we're looking at a brand new material design and feature update to Wunderlist as well as the NCAA March Madness app [Chris also tries to explain MarchMadness]. Then we move on to a couple of new devices including the Vaio phone (not connected with Sony in anyway) and the launch of the Nexus 6 on Verizon. Finally we take a look at an App that you may want to recommend.

In today's episode we look at the newly updated Chromebook pixel as well as the new Google store to go with it! Plus we take a quick look at the updated Google play store app and finally Cyanogen announce a partnership that could be a key step in "freeing" Android from Google. Well, the big releases happened so there was only one thing to do. Dedicate an entire episode to going over the HTC One M9 and the Samsung s6 and S6 edge. We look at all the spec and ask the questions, which device would you want?

To mark the second Friday episode (and comfort ourselves with the fact we didn't get to go to MWC), we took Droid today LIVE with a video episode including a few audio mishaps. Plus we looked at some big changes coming to Google+, Android and the internet as a whole.

Popular iOS app iA Writer hits Android and LG announce a new feature heavy smartwatch that isn't running android wear!

Today we look at two devices and two apps... A nice balance eh! First it's the low end Moto E 2015, then leaked pics of the S6 and some trolling by Samsung Norway. Finally Two Google services and apps are getting a nice update.

In today's episode we give a little shout out to a few friends. It's time for a new Pebble smartwatch...the Pebble time. The next generation of Google glass may already be out there. The Google Chromebook Pixel 2 may be on sale soon!

Google's mobile payment plan comes to the fore with a new acquisition, Oneplus one won't see an OTA update to Lolipop until march :( BUT there is a 3d design contest. Google inbox is coming for Google Apps users and a clever developer manages to get Android wear paired with an iPhone.
