Podcast Because Awesome

In which we get stuck in traffic, are met by some friends (and parents), turn on Tyler Oakley, and play our final show. It's beautiful and weird and sad and happy. Thank you to everyone who came out and shared your time with us...it was gorgeous.

In which our grasp of reality is loosened by Rumba and exhaustion...Paul and Joe are heroes, I interview and interviewer, and meet with old friends. 

In which we get a surprise tour of Congress from an aid who recognized us on the steps of the capital, get quized by a cab driver, and rock a sold out show at the Black Cat in DC.

In which we have our first day off and, yes, it causes undo stress, but is, in the end, very worth it. My biggest take aways of the day are 1. High school students in their native peer groups are TERRIFYING (and I'm not joking, I was legitimately afraid) and FDR is probably my favorite president and DEFINITELY my favorite memorial.

In which the crew travels from Pittsburgh to Philly, scrolls into the distant future, discusses the difference between good venues and great ones, talks about musical influences, and plays a show to a really REALLY weird crowd at Union Transfer.

In which the band experiences some highs and lows...for example, we win the lottery. We also go to a children's theater and tour it with an exhibit creator dude. And then we play a show at The Rex in Pittsburgh for a bunch of frikkin great people. 

A guest appearance from our friend the Giant Squidstravaganza begins our podcast. We discuss alergies, China, and getting mugged before a smaller more intimate and very exciting show in Cleveland at The Agora theater!

In which the bands head to Detroit for the second show of the tour, almost crash into a dollhouse, and Joe becomes a PARKING GOD!

In which Pauline saves the day, we meet some old friends, and talk about interviewing the president.
