Sean Payton has made it pretty obvious that he was attracted to Bo Nix because he is the “anti-Russell Wilson” as Stink says. Are Mike and Mark too trusting and gung-ho on Sean Payton though? And if Bo Nix is a bust, does Payton lose his job? We hear from Michael Malone and MPJ after they put the kibosh on the Lakers last night.

Our own Cecil Lammey takes over for Stink in hour 3 with high spirits after the Broncos draft the guy he wanted all along: Bo Nix! Cecil explains why this was the right decision for the Broncos before debating a listener on LeBron James. Is it disrespectful to say that LeBron is old news? It’s time to move on and accept that it’s the Nuggets time now.

They have “any given night” mentality. Meaning it’s not just about Jokic. Any player could come up huge at any time. Last night it was Aaron Gordon who got high praise from Coach Malone after the game.

Peyton Manning came on The Fan yesterday and gave great insight on what the Broncos may do, or rather, QB’s in the draft that he himself has been in contact with regarding Denver.

Is it outrageous to have compassion for another team like the Lakers? The debate rages on until Mike demands an apology from Stink. Stink refuses! The Broncos choose to pick up Pat Surtain II for his fifth-year option, Mike and Mark call it a no brainer. But who will they go with at 12 in the draft? If they even stay at 12…

The NCAA has decided to return Reggie Bush’s Heisman Trophy that was previously stripped from him. A decision ultimately made after “enormous changes in the college football landscape,” per the Heisman Trust. Mike and Mark reflect on the original decision and how much things have changed since then. Speaking of college FB, is it a red flag that one of Deion’s main guys/players at CU has entered the portal? Finally, justice has been served to Lebron James after he proves to Mike and Mark that he doesn’t deserve to be placed in the same vein as MJ.

Wow! We’re reliving that unbelievable 4th quarter from last nights game that inevitably led to Jamal Murrays game winning buzzer beater. What do the guys make of a game where the Lakers truly played excellent up until the end when the Nuggets flipped the switch. The Broncos throw a huge wrench in any perceived draft plans by trading for Jets QB Zach Wilson. Our 9News Broncos Insider, Mike Klis could’ve predicted this one however, and joins the show to help the guys make sense of this move.
