This week, Pastor Andrew, asked the question whose side are you on? As Joshua said in Josh 24:15 choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, … But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 5:13-14 13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?” 14 So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”

There are many times in life when God asks us to do things that don’t necessarily make sense to the world. When Paul and Silas were in prison (Acts:16:25), they didn’t walk by sight, or they might have been complaining about their circumstance, but instead they were walking by faith and they begin to worship God and praise Him and their chains fell off. Listen as Pastor Andrew reminds us that no matter the circumstances, we should always walk by faith! 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Proverbs 4:23 reminds us that we need to guard our hearts! This week, Pastor Andrew reminds us how important that is. Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 

Names can be difficult to remember for some people, some people remember a face, but can’t remember the name, but we are blessed that we have a God that not only remembers your face, but he remembers your name. The Word says he will never leave you nor forsake you! (Heb 13:5} and Isa 49:15 says He will not forget you! 1 Samuel 3:10 Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.”

The Bible says God inhabits the praises of his people (Psalms 22:3 kjv). Always give Him Praise! 2 Samuel 22:4 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.

We know from Romans 3:23 that “all have sinned and fallen short of God‘s glory.“ in this message Pastor Andrew talks about what happens when that sin is against us. Matthew 18:21-22  21 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

This week, Pastor Andrew reminds us that we should also be looking inward and examining ourselves. 2 Corinthians 13:5 5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

This week, Pastor Andrew reminds us that God is in the business of changing lives! Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

On this Mother’s Day, Pastor Andrew reminds us that we are all uniquely gifted to do a job God called us too, especially our mothers. Exodus 31:6 “And I, indeed I, have appointed with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and I have put wisdom in the hearts of all the gifted artisans, that they may make all that I have commanded you:

Pastor Andrew reminds us this week that if you’re facing some lions, you might want to trust God! Daniel 6:16 So the king gave the command, and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. But the king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.” 

The Bible says in James 4:2 “ you have not because you ask not“ Pastor Andrew reminds us to always ask! John 16:23 “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. 

This week Pastor Andrew reminds us that God always gives us a choice! Deuteronomy: 30:15-16 15‭ ‬“See,‭ ‬I have set before you today life and good, death and evil,‭ ‬16‭ ‬in that I command you today to love the‭ ‬Lord‭ ‬your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the‭ ‬Lord‭ ‬your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.

God has used a shepherd, a fisherman, a poor widow and many others to move His Kingdom forward based on His Plan and he can use you to, if you are willing!  1 Kings 17:8-9 8 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 9 “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” 

“He is Risen… He has Risen indeed “ 1 Peter 4:3-4 3 For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. 4 In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.

God asks us to do one thing for our country to come back to Him; not complain, not post videos and comments on social media not even to write letters to our congressman: pray! 2 Chronicles 7:14 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

We see evidence of God everywhere in the universe. The fundamental physical constants and laws of nature—such as the strength of gravity, the electromagnetic force, the mass of the electron, the cosmological constant, and the strong nuclear force—are tuned with extraordinary precision. If any of these were altered by even a tiny fraction (in many cases, by 1 part in 10^60 or far less), the universe would be radically different: stars and galaxies could not form, atoms would be unstable, or chemistry as we know it (and thus life) would be impossible (https://coldcasechristianity.com) Psalm 19: 1The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.

This week pastor Andrew reminds us that “no man knows the hour” Mark 13:35-36  35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping.

This week, Pastor Andrew reminds us that God is looking for those who are humble. Isaiah 57:15 For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
“I dwell in the high and holy place,
With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,
To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Sometimes we need to just read the instructions! God created us and gave us a “manufacturer’s handbook” (The Bible) on how to live. As Pastor Andrew reminds us…“follow the directions!” Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
