In today's episode I tried to talk about communicating across the aisle in America, however after two takes I decide to Forget About It, and realize most people like their comfortable bubbles. 

In this episode I discuss why I am going to try more frequent but shorter episodes of podcasts, and some of the topics I will discuss going forwards. I also talk just a little bit about how I see myself and this podcast almost getting canceled. 

This week I am joined by two of my college roommates; Brad Hess and Aaron Neumeyer. We talk about some of our old times in college, Instagram models, and finish with a little Trump and IU basketball. 

On this weeks episode I talk about the importance of changing the discussion around Planned Parenthood, to focus on the federal government reimbursing Planned Parenthood for medical services render instead of funding Planned Parenthood. I also talk about the need to raise the minimum wage and how the Fight for $15 will benefit all workers, so we need to stop letting the capital class divide and conquer the working class by feeding us false ideas about what an increase in the minimum wage will do.  I also offer reasons why conservatives should back both Planned Parenthood and the Fight for $15. My first episode in a month is a solo episode where I explain my long absence from recording and talk about the Daytona 500, MLB spring trying, a quick take on why Tom Brady is not the GOAT, A brief focus on the Cheeto in Chief's first 5 weeks, and finish with a brief one star review segment. 

This week is another solo podcast, so I try and keep it short, sweet, and to a couple of points. I start by explaining why I believe solitaire confinement is sometimes the only answer to keep prisons safe, for both inmates and officers. I then transition to talking about the need to regulate the banks, break them up, and hold bankers accountable for the crimes they commit. 

This week's episode is a solo podcast where I briefly touch on the better turnout for the Women's March then the Inauguration, the maddening inconsistency of the BBWAA hall of fame voting. I quickly explain why I think Jose Canseco deserves to get in to Cooperstown. I finish with a half hour on criminal justice reform, from both a humanistic and financial perspective. I explain what liberty means within the scope of criminal justice reform, and why that needs to start with decriminalizing drugs and prostitution, along with ending locking people up for being poor.

This week I am joined by Brad Hess and for the second half Stimpy. We start by talking about #PEEOTUS, we transition into Friends vs How I Met Your Mother, which turns in to my rant on Friends being a severely over-rated sit-com. Then we finish up by discussing our top 5 female musician crushes. So this episode is all over the place, especially since we lost the original 30 minutes due to a technical mishap, or Brad unplugging the recorder with an empty bottle of wine. This week I do a solo podcast where I reflect on the first year of this podcast, what I have done that I liked, what I hope to do better going forward, and what stretch goals I have for myself and this podcast. I also reflect on the year that was and what I hope to accomplish in the next year. On the whole I am grateful for the year that was 2016 and express some optimism for 2017.
