God records for us Jesus' response to the pride in His disciples' lives as a grace gift to us to help us repent of our own pride.

Following Jesus requires a massive shift in our allegiance as we rely on His grace to put off living for ourselves and to put on living for Him every day.

God in His great grace reveals Himself to us so we can experience the blessings that come from confidently knowing who Jesus really is.

God is big. We are small. We should be in awe that God uses us, His people redeemed in Christ, to display His majesty to all creation

Jesus' great power and compassion is seen in feeding the 5,000

Jesus advances His Kingdom by sending out ordinary followers to do His extraordinary work in total dependence upon Him, even with the results.

We all will face death one day. Jesus does not leave us in the fledgling faith we begin with, but calls us to grow in our knowledge of Him and in our boldness in speaking about Him.

When you encounter the power and holiness of Jesus, does it lead you to love and obey Him, or to despise Him and want Him to leave you alone?

Jesus is all powerful, and even the most evil spiritual beings must submit to Him

Jesus is Lord over all creation. We should rest in Him and trust Him through any storms in our lives.

Fix Your Eyes On Christ This Christmas Season

Does the way that I hear and obey God’s Word show that I am adopted into God’s family?

Do not hide yourself from the Word of God, and do not hide it from others.

Do I have a real faith in Jesus that can withstand the trials and tests that fill this life?

As God's people grow in their understanding of who Jesus is and what He came to do, they find a growing desire to sacrificially give and serve to advance His kingdom
