Today I share my thoughts on why philosophy is so important for the average person. I link philosophy to consciousness, and show how the lack of thought allows us to be more easily controlled, oppressed, and limited in our freedoms, and thus consciousness.

Talking about consciousness while driving home late one night. I think consciousness is a solvable hard problem if we study it as an emergent factor of systems rather than through a purely reductive lens.

Though understandable, I get very frustrated with stories that mistake hierarchy for some fundamental aspect of nature or human behavior. Today, I share my learnings and ideas around the reality of hierarchy and is circumstantial appearance in human/animal behavior. I then go on to share some high level ideas and reasons why we need more stories that show the awesomeness of humans without hierarchy.

I pick up where I left off in the last episode by discussing several ideas and contexts for how we can build businesses and foster an entrepreneurial mindset in society outside of Capitalism and a monetary system.

I continue my musings on how to build utopia by talking some more about the importance of building deep relationships, and the importance of building walkable neighborhoods with communal spaces.

Today, I share some utopian visions for a better world based on what it would look like to live in real communities, where you have friendships and close relationships with the people in your neighborhood.

Today I ramble on about climate change, free will, consciousness and stuff. Thinking about how and why being more conscious of the environment through being curious, aware, and scientific can bring us more options to solving the world's biggest problems.

I respond to text another Lex Fridman podcast, this time about intelligence! https://youtu.be/hppbxV9C63g I discuss some important questions I feel were missing in that conversation, and talk about why we need to be unafraid to delve more into the subject of intelligence, grapple with the likelihood of intelligence being genetic, and therefore develop a better society that does not optimize for just intelligence.

How can we change the world for the better without starting from scratch? Today, I propose four main pillars for just that: Urban Planning, Governance, Economy, and Identity.

Today, after I share my weekend, I vent about the craziness going on in the US in regards to Row v Wade and the mass shootings in America. Our entire idea of democracy today is a complete joke. It's just not possible to have a democracy or any real freedom when millions of people are forced to live under the same rules and moral codes. Anarchy allows people to be people, to be empathetic, and removes the ability to force people to do what you want. We need anarchy, because that is the only way to ensure the freedom of all people, not just some. We need anarchy because it removes the structures of power. We need anarchy because it's best, historically proven, way to allow people the freedom they desire to exist how they want to exist.

Today I give some updates on personal problems and life stuff. I've had many car problems in the last 2 weeks. I also get into a few other things I've been up to, like helping my partner with her booth at the Southern Fried Pride event and some community building events.

Today, I talk about AI and Google's LaMDA being in the news due to an engineer claiming that it is sentient.
