The Book of Ephesians - Spirit Empowered Living
16/10/2025 Duração: 42minPaul's letter comes to a close in Ephesians 6:10–20 as we discover what it truly means to “put on the full armour of God.” Paul’s calls believers to stand firm in spiritual strength, not human effort — to live as a Spirit-empowered community reflecting Christ’s character in a world filled with unseen influences from the powers of evil. Each piece of the armour — truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word — represents the character of Christ that we’re invited to “put on.”This is not a solo fight — it’s a call to unity in the Body of Christ, empowered by prayer and sustained by love. Paul connects this spiritual armour to the prophecies of Isaiah and the mission of Jesus, showing that the armour of God is ultimately Christ Himself whose character does not bow to the powers but rather overcomes them.To support the ministry of Melbourne Inclusive Church go to: www.michurch.org.au/give Melbourne Inclusive Church boldly and proudly proclaims Christ’s equal love for all people regardless of their a

The Book of Ephesians - Leaving the Dark to Walk in the Light
07/10/2025 Duração: 45minWho are you imitating with your life? In Ephesians 5, Paul calls us to leave behind darkness and live as children of light. We’re shaped by the voices we follow, but as God’s children, we’re called to imitate Christ—walking in love, light, and wisdom, submitting to one another regardless of gender, culture or status. This message unpacks how Paul’s radical teaching redefined relationships, challenged culture, and pointed the church toward a Spirit-filled life of humility, service, and sacrificial love. Book of Ephesians Chapter 4 - Unity in Community
30/09/2025 Duração: 42minThis week we continue our journey through the book of Ephesians. In Chapter 4 Paul shifts gears from the understanding of who we are in Christ to what we do now as new creations in Christ. Paul's attention is focused on unity within the community of believers as an expression of the love of God. How will such a diverse group of people hold onto unity and continue to love one another in the likeness of Christ? This is not possible in our own strength and understanding, therefore grace gifts were given to the church to empower us to love another and to pursue good deeds. The Book of Ephesians - A New Creation and Family
09/09/2025 Duração: 32minIn Chapter 3 of Paul's letter to the Ephesians we summaries the mystery which is now an open - secret being revealed. Paul’s teaching reminds us that the Gospel is both mystery revealed and power experienced. It unites unlikely people, demonstrates God’s wisdom, and empowers us to live differently. His prayer challenges us to seek more than individual blessings—we are called into a community that embodies God’s love before the watching world, even before unseen powers. support the ministry of Melbourne Inclusive Church go to: www.michurch.org.au/give Melbourne Inclusive Church boldly and proudly proclaims Christ’s equal love for all people regardless of their ability, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, gender, race, ethnicity, or culture. Book of Ephesians - From Death to Life to Temple
02/09/2025 Duração: 42minToday we continue our journey through Paul's letter to the Ephesians. In Chapter 2 Paul shares two different perspectives on the inclusions of the Gentiles as children of God. Paul first addresses the cosmic perspective how the Gentiles like all other humans had been separated from God due to sin but how through Messiah Jesus they are now called childred of God. The second perspective relates to the covenant. Gentiles were far away, outsiders to the family of God but again, through Christ not only are Gentiles included in God's family but a whole new family is created in Messiah. This new family - this new way to be human includes everyone equally. To support the ministry of Melbourne Inclusive Church go to: www.michurch.org.au/give Melbourne Inclusive Church boldly and proudly proclaims Christ’s equal love for all people regardless of their ability, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, gender, race, ethnicity, or culture.Melbourne Inclusive Church is part of the EMI Global family of churches.

The Book of Ephesians - Revelation and Resurrection Power
26/08/2025 Duração: 48minToday we continue our jorney through Paul's letter to the Ephesians. He has great news for the Gentiles, they too are part of God's family through faith in Christ. From the beginning it is Gods heart to bless and work through human beings. Sadly we continue to miss the mark so God choosed Jesus to be the person through whom all nations will be blessed. Jesus is the one predestined from the beginning and all who put their faith in Christ become chosen, redeemed, blessed with the Spirit and set apart as an ongoing blessing to the nations. To support the ministry of Melbourne Inclusive Church go to: www.michurch.org.au/giveMelbourne Inclusive Church boldly and proudly proclaims Christ’s equal love for all people regardless of their ability, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, gender, race, ethnicity, or culture.Melbourne Inclusive Church is part of the EMI Global family of churches.

Humble Yourself
29/07/2025 Duração: 37minIn a world that often rewards self-promotion, independence, and pride, God calls us to something radically different: humility. Pride separates and divides us but humility allows for differences, cares for the needs of not just ourselves, but he needs of others. True humility isn’t about appearing lowly to others, but being submitted to God. Humility is not weakness it’s the path to - and good stewardship of God’s will and grace. To support the ministry of Melbourne Inclusive Church go to: www.michurch.org.au/giveMelbourne Inclusive Church boldly and proudly proclaims Christ’s equal love for all people regardless of their ability, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, gender, race, ethnicity, or culture. Let Us Pray - Attributes of God
08/07/2025 Duração: 48minIn week 3 of our Let Us Pray series we ask the question: Why does God answer prayer? Is the answer our ability to pray well? Or perhaps our goodness and character? The basis for answered prayer is the goodness of God not humans. In todays message we learn about the attributes of God through the names that God is known by and we do so using a famous and poetic psalm. Psalm 23 helps us to see eight attributes of God that we can pray through which focuses our prayer on the goodness of God toward each of us. The Lord is our Shepherd.
