Hello...it's me. Back to the burnout! And sorry - ONE MORE Debbie Downer episode on the (abysmal) stats behind burnout before we can get to the REMEDIES! Listen in to the stats on burnout, just in case you haven't heard the memo that #burnout is at epidemic rates in the US - particularly in healthcare providers. We'll get over to the remedies soon - but the first step in solving any problem is to DEFINE and RECOGNIZE it!

I promise I'll get back to the burnout miniseries soon....but... I wanted to talk about my fellow misfits for a second. You know the ones - the troublemakers. The difficult to work with brilliant geniuses who everyone else ignores. Leaders: ignore them no longer, unless you want your organization to die. Employees: think about who are your company's misfits - and then reach out and consider partnering with them on something revolutionary.  2-4-6-8-who do we appreciate? THE UNDERDOGS. THE MISFITS - YEA....REBELS!

What causes YOU stress in your work or life? Homework today: FIGURE OUT WHAT STRESSES YOU OUT. Seriously - write that list down, because we're going to march forward here and I'm going to five you some tips on how to nip that stuff in the bud. Key to preventing #burnout: SELF-CARE!
