Ser Selwyn and Leila’s bonds strengthen. Ash’s night of heavy smoking and dancing leaves him feeling suspicious of his hosts after a rest. Cor argues about splitting treasure just as an ambush breaks out…

A very musical evening begins as Cor plays the flute, Ash competes and Ser Selwyn raises his voice to join them. The party also has to adjust to life on a boat with a bunch of suspicious strangers…

The party sets out on the underground river, safe from the monsters in the jungle above they have a completely peaceful and event-free journey – for the first two hours. Ash and Stephanos are relaxing and fishing when the party begins being pulled into the glowing depths by fowl creatures from the maddening deeps. And not everyone on the boat is alive at the end of the episode. But Cor sure knows how to ruin a funeral.

How do you pay for damages when they won’t take coin as payment? And how do your make your friend pay for it when he’s in a coma? Cor is pranked to a dangerous degree in the dark elf caves and Leila ends up in a rivalry with a young drow lady who may be capable of just about anything to get ahead. Ash is just trying to get the stench of Ser Selwyn off him, meanwhile, his captured dragon has found a way out of it’s cage.

The warriors lounge is a special club for Dark Elf Warriors, Selwyn in his new armor, takes every drink and pill offered him while the scintillating scented smokes of silver censures smear the ceiling. Leila sweats out the skunk stench and gains a new magical odour to replace it. Ash nearly gets smooched by smooches and Cor picks up a girl. Leila becomes a social outcast once again. Meanwhile Cor’s display of archery prowess earns him some unwanted attention from the dark elf warriors. Ash is busy putting the skills he learned watching merchants in the marketplace to good use while Ser Selwyn is forced to wear “girls” armour. Jealousy that has been seething beneath the surface finally comes to a head in the party. The dark elves begin to make plans with the characters to continue their journey but those not welcome at their private meeting find other ways to entertain themselves. They also learn of a dangerous yet intriguing sport played by their hosts and are invited to join in. The glowing fungi, random events and inspiration for this episode were created by the twitch chat for this episode.

A grey puddle of acidic death is slowly advancing on the group and seems bent on devouring their flesh and their equipment. Arrows and swords and even Ash’s fire seem to matter little to it. And as Cor casts a spell at it, he feels it flung back at himself nearly full force by the alien, unknowable psyche in that quasi-sentient slime. Tactic after tactic is tried to defeat this abomination ending in one party member blind and another comatose in nightmares…

Ser Selwyn, Leila and Stephanos all have to think quick to avoid offending their very eager night-time visitors. The aftermath of their plans though cause disrupted sleep for the entire party. Before the totally smashed Ash can sleep though, he has to take care of his little dragon friend – who is not happy about being ignored and trapped in a box all day. Many of the events were inspired by the twitch chat room for this episode.
