Back to the Movies is kicking off 2016 by reviewing one of the biggest holiday releases The Hateful Eight written/directed by Quentin Tarantino. In this week’s edition we’re joined by Alexandra Bohannon, Dustin Sells, and Dalton Stuart from the GoodTrash crew to talk with special guest host and local Oklahoma City filmmaker Nick Sanford about The Hateful Eight.The Hateful Eight is Tarantino’s return to the western genre and stars Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, and Demian Bichir. The entire cast of mostly understated character actors play a slew of despicable characters locked in a hostel during a blizzard. Time Marks: 38:06 we enter our spoiler section. 52:47 we move out of spoilers and wrap up the show. In the first official episode under the Back to the Movies banner, Caleb and Arthur go back to the movies to see Steve Jobs starring Michael Fassbender, directed by Danny Boyle from a script by Aaron Sorkin. Caleb and Arthur also lay the groundwork for the series with a couple of different segments, including "Trailer Talk" in which they discuss the new Star Wars trailer, and "Spoilers" where they go in depth with the film and talk the nitty gritty details of the story. Come and join us on this adventure as we go Back to the Movies. 

Producer's note, this was initially published under our sister show's banner. We'll be back next week with a new episode as we talk Danny Boyle's new film, Steve Jobs. Arthur and Caleb go Back to the Movies this week to look at and discuss Goosebumps, based on the best-selling young adult series from R.L. Stine. The movie stars Jack Black, Dylan Minnette, Odeya Rush, and Ryan Lee and is directed by Rob Letterman. Goosebumps is rated PG with an approximate run time of 103 minutes and opens nationwide on October 16th, 2015. 

This innaugural episode is a spin-off of our sister show, the GoodTrash GenreCast. The format is still being tweaked and will eventually lead to its own show. In this episode, Caleb, Arthur, and guest host Dalton Stuart talk about Guillermo Del Toro's new gothic romance Crimson Peak. The formatting still follows that of our sister show, so you'll be getting more of a GoodTrash taste than BTTM, but we're getting there.
